MADDIE'S ARSENAL

Katana — The first katana with pink handle had gold collar and pommel. It's as standard as any other existing katana forged by the Iron Sister. The blue one distinguished by its unique white blade and was forged by Wayland the Smith. Said to be the first katana ever made. Its rune was placed around its ring-guard. The blade has been passed down from generation to generation particularly to the women of Herondales.

Originally, Maddie is not in-line to inherit the blade as it should only be passed down to a "Herondale" but since Stephen Herondale supposedly don't have a child (let alone a daughter), Imogen Herondale (former guardian of the blade since Amy Starkweather died) waived the tradition to which she believed it's what her daughter would have wanted.

Throwing Knife — Maddie carries what she can in her artillery during mission. In normal day, she may be found with only three to four knives.

Stele — Fundamental and most important tool of Shadowhunters. Stele's are wand-like no longer than 8 inches and is made of pure adamas. The crystal of the stele's glows when in use.

Witchlight — White marble-like stone that emits light. It gives off a pure white glow at the will of a Shadowhunter. Its luminosity is automatic, generating enough light at place. Shadowhunters often carry two witchlight in their possession.

MADDIE'S POSSESION

Arrow Necklace — Commemorating a one-year anniversary with Alec Lightwood, she was gift with a miniaturized arrow bind in a leather necklace. The pendant is made from adamas thus can be inflict damaged if and when the pendant is runed.

Family Rings — Maddie owns both Starkweather and Herondale family ring. The Starkweather ring is rightfully owned by her as a member of the Starkweather family, however, the Herondale ring originally belonged to her mother until her death in 1996. She's known to wear both rings on a silver chain as a necklace.

Engagement Ring — A Lightwood family ring designed with the family symbol flames, with the letter "L" on the center of the ring. It was presented to her by her now husband, Alec Lightwood, when she was asked for her hand in marriage. Maddie wears this one in her left middle finger.
