"Charlie?" I gasped, watching the gentleman approaching us.

"It's you." Charlie gasped, just as surprised as I am.

"What a surprise." I beamed smiling. The most truest smile I made this evening.

"You guys know each other?" Izzy asked.

"Yeah... I run into him during the week prior to Alec and Lydia's supposed wedding. I felt so miserable, so I went out and stroll the city." I explain while I chuckled. They all stare at me in confusion that I'm laughing to such painful memory.

"Thank God she did. She saved so many lives that day. Including mine and my friend Tim." Charlie said as he took a sit Izzy had offered him "I never expected to see you again." he said to me.

"Yeah, me either... but I'm really glad I did." I widely smiled at him before giving Jace a knowing look.

So, so glad!

Who knew that our final disciple will be landing in our lap?

"You pick a good one, Iz." I commented at Izzy and she smiled at me.

"Oh, everyone this is Charlie..." Izzy said, introducing Charlie "...and Charlie this is our mom, Maryse ..."

"Hi." Maryse said as they shake hands.

"...these are my brothers, Jace and Alec..." Izzy said then Jace and Alec took turns shaking his hands.

"...and you probably already know, Maddie, my best friend and Alec's wife." Izzy said as we shake hands.

"Actually no. I never knew her name. She kept it a secret." Charlie mocked.

After exchanging few small conversation, we ordered our food and as expected, drinks arrived first. Maryse has mojito, Izzy has wine, all the boys have IPA's, while mine is as you know, vodka.

"So what kind of doctor are you?" Maryse asked.

"Pediatric surgeon." Charlie answered, politely.

"You work with children." Jace stated the obvious, getting interest in the conversation.

"Yeah, well, kids love to break their arms, run into coffee tables." Charlie chuckled, before he took a sip from his drink "Anyway, Isabelle has told me about the family business."

"What exactly did she tell you?" Alec query, his tone made Charlie baffled.

"Is the jewelry thing a secret?" Charlie questioned, and I slightly laughed.

"Jewelry?" I clarified in between laughs.

"She told you we're jewelers?" Alec mocked, looking at Izzy, Maryse put a hand on Alec, indicating him to stop teasing.

"We prefer to think of ourselves as artists." Maryse amended.

The night went on with us eating our meal while sharing story about me being a hero that tragic fire accident day and embarrassing stuff about Izzy. Yet, we're still here in the same stupid table in this tedious bar surrounded with good-for-nothing people. I mean it's bad enough that we have to play this charades... I can't even get a second away from Alec.

"I'm really happy you're here." Alec whispered in my ear.

"Me too." I smiled. Probably the hundredth fake smile I made this evening.

"Have you called your Nana? She's been worried sick about you."

"I'll call her... maybe later." I said as I stand up from my sit.
