Chapter 10 Confused Love

Nathan's POV  

It felt ... good. My first kiss with Cher. I wanted it to be her.  

We stood there kissing until we had to go back for breath. She was breathing for air while asking me 'W-what was that for?' 

I realized that Zayn wasn't here anymore. 

'I'm so sorry. My instincts took over.' 

'Look Nate. I like you too, but I Don't know if we are gonna work out or not.' 

'Why not?' 

'Something is stopping me from getting on to the next level with you.' 

'Please. Let me at least try. I like like like like like like like you alot.'

'Let me think this through please?' 

I nod my head in approval. 

'Want me to walk you home?' I ask. 

'Yes i would love that' she replies.

We get up and throw our drinks away.

The walk is silent until we arrive at Cher's house. 

'Can I at least get a hug?'  

'Yeah sure' she quietly says 

I notice she has tears in her eyes as she tells me 

'Bye'

My walk home makes me thinking. That 'bye' felt like it was real.. That it was our last time talking. Then there was Zayn who disappeared after kissing Cher. Why does he care for me so much? Does he think I'm that weak? Unanswered questions kept coming inside my head.

'Beeepppp!'  

'oh sorry!' i say as i realize that I was walking through the street. I get home and knock out on my living room couch.

-ZAYN'S POV-

'Zayn where are you going?' Perrie asked me.  

'I Don't wanna talk right now.' I rudely reply. 

I got back from the Starbucks and Nate's make out session with Cher. 

'Hey Niall can I used your restroom.' I ask 

'Yeah bro. Its upstairs. First door to your left.' I go and stay up there for a long time. I didnt want to talk to anyone. I hear a knock on the door. 

'Zayn. You okay in there?' a familiar voice says. 

'Yeah I'm okay Chinny' 

'Its Chinthika not Chinny' she says through the door. 

'But I like that nickname for you' I say. 

'Can I come in?' she asks 

It takes me a while to reply. 

'Yeah sure' 

'Wait. You're not doing your business right?' 

'No i just needed to get away to people for a while.' 

She comes in and sits on the floor in front of me 

'What's wrong?'  

'Nate and Cher' 

'Okay tell me everything. You can trust me' 

'I Don't trust Cher. And Nate well he's strong but if something hurts him again he will break and it will be worse than me.'
