CHINNY'S POV

'JOSH!' I yelled as I sat up.

I looked around me.

Medics are surrounding me. I'm on a trolley. I then realize where I am. I'm still at the school, outside an ambulance. I see my friends coming towards me.

'OH MY GOD CHINNY DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!' Sarah yells and embraces me into a hug.

'W-where's Josh?!' I quickly ask.

'Don't worry Chinny. He's alright. The firefighters set up a safety net just in time before he jumped. He must've not seen it because it was directly under him,' Sarah replies.

I exhale loudly.

'Thank god.... Where is he?' I ask.

'Well that's the thing... The police took him to the station because he still had the stench of alcohol so he's being charged,' Louis says from behind Sarah.

'Can we go?!?' I ask hesitantly while getting off the trolley.

'Hold on Miss... We need to check your heart rate to see if it's normal.' A nurse says.

'I'm fine!' I yell. I hurriedly walk to Louis' van.

I hear Liam apologizing and moments later, we're heading to the station.

Nate is with Louis in the front having an intense whispering conversation.

'Explain to me this girl you were walking with,' Louis whispers.

'It's none of your business,' Nate hisses.

'Oh so that's how you're gonna play it then,' I hear Louis say.

'SO TELL ME ABOUT YOU'RE NEW GIRLFRIEND NATE!' Louis yells and everyone turns their attention to the front.

'Umm.... umm.. well ... she's not my girlfriend, I was just helping her..... she was lost that's it.' Nathan replies turning red.

'Really? Then what did she hand you before you left?' Harry asks.

'Erm... uh... her number,' Nathan says quickly and quietly.

Literally everyone except me wolf whistles.

'Shut up' Nate says then sliding down his seat.

'What happened back there Harry?' I ask him.

'Well you see.... Nathan got mad at us and then left us and when we found him, he was walking with this girl and we followed him without him noticing. They stopped at a house and I guess it was the girl's cuz she went inside and then we honked when Nathan started walking away. He was saying that he was 'cooling off' but we knew what really happened,' Harry tells me the story.

'Oh... well thanks for trying to find Josh,' I reply to him.

'Anytime Chinster... so how are you ready to talk to Josh?' He asks in a concerned tone.

*sigh* 'I have to... whether I'm ready or not.'

'Whatever you say, we'll support you 100%!' Sarah says.

'Thanks,' I reply then lean my head on the window.

We get to the station and I freeze. I can't get out, I'm not ready.

Sarah comes back to me and holds out her hand.

'I know you're ready Chinny. You're the strongest girl I know and sometimes, I get jealous because of that. You inspire me and every other girl at our school.' Sarah says.
