Chapter 23 Love Since Kinder

NATHAN'S POV

I was too shocked to even move or say a word. First Chinny and now all of a sudden Eleanor, Perrie, and Zayn show up. I notice a bit of changes in Zayn and Perrie. For Perrie, the most obvious one is her hair color. She seemed to dye it pink. While Zayn on the other hand, had a slightly bigger quiff and studs in his ears. You could see in their faces that they were shocked as we were.

Liam was the first to walk towards them. Slowly, he approached Zayn and just stood there looking at him.

'Good to see you again old pal,' Liam says as he embraces Zayn into a hug.

'Calm down Liam, its only been a few months,' I hear Zayn say in a distance. Everyone else goes to the other side and starts chatting up with each other. Louis goes with Eleanor, Chinny stays with Josh just talking, the girls go talk to Perrie and the boys talk to Zayn, while me on the other hand stays where I am. I feel.... left out. I don't belong here. I hear Zayn whisper to them in a distance, ' Why is he here?'

'Be nice Zayn. Maybe you two can work things out and be friends again,' Harry says back.

'Hmph why don't you ask him,' Zayn replies rudely.

Whatever. I start to walk away and then Liam yells out 'Where you going Nate!'

'Gonna get some food... You guys want some?' I yell back.

'Yeah we'll call you.' Harry yells.

'Wait Nate! I'll go with you,' Niall yells and then run towards me.

'Lets go to McDonalds yeah?' I ask Niall.

'Oooo yeah most definitely,' Niall says.

We continue walking in silence until Niall breaks it.

'So, are you planning on talking to Zayn?' He asks.

'Only if he wants to.' I say back quickly.

Niall stops walking and I turn to him, he gives me an angry look and just socks me in the face, making me fall back to the ground.

'Ahh what the fuck Niall!' I say as I wipe away blood from my lip.

'Sorry Nate but you deserved that. Stop being a pussy and talk to Zayn. Yeah it's gonna be hard but you want your friendship back right?'

I nod my head.

'Then just do what you gotta do. I'm sure deep down Zayn wants to be friends with you again. He always saw you as a little brother until-'

'Okay Niall I get the point.... Thanks.'

We walk continue walking until we reach McDonald's.

'Liam we're here, the usual?' I ask through the phone while we get in line.

'Yeah!'

'How many people in to-'

'Thirteen Nate, we'll send Zayn to pick you guys up.' He interrupts.

'A-alright.'

'It's now or never,' Niall says

I nod in agreement.

Minutes later we walk out with Niall carrying the bags while I struggle with the sodas. If only Harry was here, he could carry three cup holders without even struggling.

My mouth drops when Zayn pops out of a shining Bentley.

'Zayn! Do you even know how much those cost?!' Niall yells who seems to be shocked as I am.

'My parents got it for my birthday. It was a sorry present for leaving California... But personally all that's left over there is bad memories.' He says taking a quick look at me and then smirks.
