Chapter 33 Finally Happy

ZAYN'S POV

Confusion went into me once I saw Danielle kiss Nathan. Like why would she do that if she knows Liam is still in love with her. Nate pushed away and looked around at us and then finally Liam. He was about to approach him but Liam just ran away.

'Wait here,' I tell Perrie and go after him.

I run outside the bowling alley and look left and right to see which way Liam went. I see him walking but he's barely visible so I run to him.

'Liam wait.' I tell him as I get closer.

He turns around. His face is covered in tears.... He's heartbroken.

'I'm not in the mood to speak to any-' Liam starts to say.

'No Liam, you need to talk to someone. I know you, we've been best friends since elementary, don't think that I don't know you anymore because of Nate. Both of you are my best pals but what matters right now is you Liam.' I say.

*sigh* 'Alright let's just sit down here.' Liam says.

We sit down and I ask him, 'What happened between you two?'

'Well we decided it was best for us to break up when we never had time for each other. I had football PLUS baseball and Danielle had dance and Waterpolo. We tried so many times but we just didn't make the cut but now that summer is coming around the corner, I just want to be with her during that time and when school comes around the corner again, we can make plans on how we are going to spend time together but I guess it's not happening.' Liam say wiping away remaining tears.

'Have you you talked to her about you still loving her?' I ask.

'Yes I have but she always ends up telling me that she doesn't like that I'm waiting my time on her when I should be focusing on more important things, but I just can't... I love her so much and for her to do that right now...'

'Liam you do know Nate didn't know Danielle was gonna do that right?'

'Yea of course, Nathan is not like that, I'll apologize when we get back... I'm just so heartbroken and angry.... Why would Danielle use one of our friends to show me that she doesn't love me anymore?' Liam asks.

'I don't know Liam, but one things for sure, you got to talk to her tonight.' I tell him.

'Yeah I know.... Hey what time is it?'

'It's 9:30' I say checking my phone.

'What time are you leaving tomorrow?'

'Around 12' I reply.

'Alright, let's go, all of us have to continue our last night together before You and Perrie leave.' Liam says standing up.

'Wait where? And what about you talking to Danielle?' I ask.

'Don't worry bro, I've got it all handled, tonight's not the night for drama so let's go.' Liam says and starts running back to the alley. There's Liam for you, always looking for a positive way out of the negative.

DANIELLE'S POV

Everyone's still looking at me once Zayn goes after Liam.

'D-Danielle.... Why?' Nate asks.

'I-I.... I just.' I start to say.

'Sarah no calm down.' I hear Harry say.

'No Harry, I can't keep quiet, I don't know why anyone isn't telling Danielle anything!' Sarah yells.

'Sarah you don't get it... It's complicated.' I say.
