Sita entered The hut given to her and her sisters. Her anujaas sighed and plopped down on the floor.

"Urmi, You have your dagger with you na?" Sita asked to her sister, who was half asleep.

"No, Its still with Lakshman." Urmia said before she fell asleep totally.

'I'll bring it. Its not safe to be weaponless even though we are at an ashram.' Sita thought as she moved out of the hut carefully not disturbing her sisters who fell asleep.

***********

What Sita saw there bought tears into her eyes. She knew Lakshman only since a few hours, but from what she saw, she could easily understand that he was a ferocious warrior, a very much loyal brother and a very strong and mentally stable human being.

But what she saw now, was a totally new side of this brother of hers. Lakshman was crying in Ram's arms like a small kid crying in front of his mother. And Ram, he looked so protective and possessive of Lakshman, as if someone would just snatch him away. The beautiful daughter of Janak stood there, looking at the pair of brothers with teary eyes, It was so much clear that both of them needed each other for survival. It was written on Lakshman's face about how protective he was about his bhaiyya's love and care. He would die if his bhaiyya abandoned him.

(I hope you got the forshadowing in the last line!!)

Ram gently placed his dear brother's head in his lap, and caressed his hair softly till he fell asleep completely. Sita was so awestruck at the scene that she forgot about why she was there in the first place. She and her Sisters always prided themselves to be the best among all pairs of siblings out there, but these boys had proven her wrong. They were the second best, the Daashirathis were the best, Sita concluded.

Ram looked at Lakshman. This was the first time his brothers were away from him for so much time, and it pained him a lot. He felt somewhat...... Guilty?

Yes, it was all his fault, wasnt it? He let them go alone, that too without any proper weapons. He glanced at the cuts and bruises all around Lakshman's arms and body. Ram winced, it must have been so painful, right? But whatever it may be, Ram was very proud of his brothers that they took the responsibility of the princesses, helped them, protected them. They could have refused to be responsible, but they dint. And that, according to Ram, was true 'Kshatriya Dharm'.

But he swore, that this situation would never repeat, as Ram would always be there to protect them from everything.

Ram was about to lie down, before he sensed someone's presence. His hand instinctively reached his bow, and he stood up, standing protectively in front of his brother.

"Who's there? Come out, or else the result wont be that good." Ram said in his normal tone, which was enough to shake Janaki out of her trance.

"Its me, prince Ram..." Sita said, embarrased.

"Devi Sita? YOU??" Ram asked, astonished, which woke u the most alert creature in this whole wide world.

"Bhaiyya?...... And Sita didi?" Lakshman asked sleepily. Ram glanced at him apologetically, as if saying 'Sorry' for disturbing his sleep, for which Lakshman nodded in an 'Its ok'

"Actually, I came here for Urmi's dagger, which is with Lakshman. I am sorry for the disturbance-" Sita was cut off

"Thats fine didi, you dint disturb us. And here you go, the dagger" Lakshman said, handing the dagger to her.

"Thanks Lakshman.." Sita thanked him and went away, not before taking a glimpse of Her Ram

'MY RAM??!! What the hell Sita????' Her brain screamed
