At this rate, I know I am bombarding you with updates. But I want to be done with Ayodhya kanda by the time my holidays are done, and I wont be update this frequently in the later part of it because we have an engagement in our house.

So, Yeah. I am not updating the chapters, I am just storing them in the drafts and publishing them when I get enough comments on the previous ones.

Comment, guys. COMMENT!

You know what, By the time I started writing this chapter, I hadnt even published the previous one.

BTW, Title kaisa hai? Dont hesitate to tell me that its very bad. I wont mind, really.

P.S- Here, 'Janaki' refers to Urmila.

***********

Urmila ran as fast as she could, and sat with a thud on her bed. A few tears rolled down her face, remembering the words she just heard

'She will learn to live, and so will I'

How could he? How could he think that she could live without him? How can he assume that she will get over him? How?

"The day this tear touches the ground, will be the day I perish" She heard a voice. She looked up, only to find Lakshman knelt in front of her with a droplet of tear on his fingertip, holding it like he was holding the most precious thing in the whole world

"I am coming along" She declared without a second thought. It was better to go along with him than to suffer the pain of separation for fourteen years, which she wasnt sure she would survive

Lakshman's eyes widened. This was something he had feared entirely, and this has happened. But he couldnt let Urmila's stubbornness overpower his', or else it will be a huge price for this Family to pay. Lakshman knew what to do now- Reverse psychology

"Ok, fine. Come along" Lakshman said, nodding his head to which Urmila jumped up in delight. She turned around to pack their clothes for the departure, but Lakshman's voice stopped her

"But then, What if Rani Kaikeyi is not satisfied with what she has gotten and attempts to do something even bad with Maa, Badi Maa, or worse- Pita?" He asked. Urmila froze, realizing where all this was leading to. He was telling her the possible consequences if even she accompanies them

"Someone has to be there for them, Mila. Four of their children are in Kaikeya and three of them are leaving within an hour. Someone has to be there to take care of them, to protect them. And in this scenario, I dont think I can trust anyone at all except you. Please Mila, For My sake, for the sake of maintaining at least a bit of tranquility in this house, please stay back. Please, Mila." Lakshman pleaded, to which Urmila's universe shattered.

He was expecting that she would shout at him, yell at him and accuse him of cheating and heartbreak, and rightfully so. But that was something she never did. She just turned around and stared into his eyes, but her blue, doe shaped eyes which always bored warmth and love, were now filled with coldness and despair, and Lakshman wanted to curl up and die when he realized that it was his fault.

"You- You want to leave me and go? For fourteen years?" She asked, voice shaking like hell. Lakshman couldnt help but hesitantly nod, expecting a tight slap on his cheek, but all he got was some more of staring

(Pragyu, I cant thank you enough for this! I came to know about this SUPERB song just because of your comment, and I think I should add it with LakshMila. THANK YOU!)
