A/N- I am dying. Either of excitement or of nervousness, Idk.

Now, just as Shurpanakha had said in her monologue, she was the princess of Lanka. And hence, when Khara and Dushana failed to 'Avenge' her, she decided to approach the mightiest set of brothers she possessed

As her feet landed on the sand of Lankapiri, the capital fortress situated on the trikuta hills, her non existent brain started to work

Her brother, Ravana, was by no means a family loving person. If he were to do a job, he would only do it for his and only his benefit. And thus, she would have to present the tale in such a way that would seem favourable to him

Lanka was a very beautiful city. Made of gold, it was ever prosperous and the people living there wealthy. But no one possessed that one thing that kept the soul happy- Dharma. Lanka was the land of pure evil.

The golden castle was gigantic, with the most exquisite architecture. In the courtroom, which had no provision for the sunlight to enter, there were a lot of thrones.

The highest and Largest throne was occupied by Ravana, the king of Lanka. Being the eldest Son of Rishi Visharva and the demon princess Kaikasi, he ruled upon not only Asuras, but also the Devas. He looked as menacing as any other demon, and adorned a crown of jewels on his head. Beside his throne was the chandrahasa, his sword. The Lanka he ruled upon was once ruled by Kubera, his step brother. He had defeated Kubera and had captured over his city.

Adjacent to his throne was the second largest throne, which belonged to Ravana's eldest Son and the crown prince of Lanka, Meghanad. He was a well known illusionist, the most popular way of fighting being disappearing in thin air. He was bestowed with various boons, and had acquired the name 'Indrajeet' by defeating the king of Devas.

And on a slightly smaller throne sat Vibhishana, Ravana and Shurpanakha's brother, perhaps the only person in Lanka who had some brain and a capability to think. He, unlike his fellow siblings, believed in following the path of Dharma.

"Shurpanakha, is that you?" Ravana raised a brow, his eyes lingering on the place where his sister's nose and ears should have been

"Bhrata! I demand justice" She mock cried

"Shurpanakha, what exactly happened? Whom do you want justice from and who did this to you?" Vibhishana asked calmly, very well knowing that it was certainly his sister's fault

"Bhrata-" She looked at Ravana in feigned innocence
"Bhrata, while roaming in Dandakaranya, I came across a hut in which a few humans resided. There, I met a woman of exquisite beauty. She had complexion of gold, lotus shaped, hazel coloured, mesmerizing pair of eyes, a charming smile. She was decked in saffron coloured clothes. I thought-" She choked on her fake tears
"I thought that she deserves to be yours, Bhrata. Hence, I attempted to bring her to Lanka, right at your feet, but then, her husband and brother-in-law did this to me" She bawled in her self made, crocodile tears

Ravana smirked, and Vibhishana knew he was upto no good
"Well, Sister. Your sacrifice won't go in vain" He laughed Maniacally

"Bhrata. What are you planning to do?" Vibhishana asked cautiously
Ravana looked at him and smirked some more

"Sita Haran"

*************

It was just another normal morning for the three exiled royalties.

Sita was collecting flowers for the prayers. Rama and Lakshmana were randomly practicing some war formations (The theory) just because they had nothing else to do, and practicing war formations kept them in touch with the art of warfare, which they feared they would forget by the time they went back home.
