Diana looked up from her book she was reading on the couch as the front door swung up. Henry staggered in while holding his side. "Shit Henry," She gasped as she dropped her book and rushed over to him. "What happened?"

"Get out of the doorway," He groaned as he moved to block her.

"You need help," She whispered as he kicked the door shut.

"I'm fine," he said as he held his side. "I'll go see Doc later."

"You...." She gently moved his hand then gasped, "you need to see him now."

"No Ma'am," he whispered as he leaned against the door. "You need to be protected."

"I'm in a fortress," She shook her head, "I'm fine."

"You are while I'm here," he nodded.

"What happened?" she asked as she held her hand to his side.

"Don't worry about it," he shook his head. "Where are the bosses?"

She reached for her phone just as the window across from the couch shattered. She gasped as Henry threw himself over her. If she hadn't rushed over to Henry's side she would have been hit by the bullets that were whizzing by them.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Gabriel shouted as they rushed downstairs with their guns drawn.

"Henry's hurt," Diana shouted. Suddenly the bullets stop and then start up again outside. Henry glanced up and shoved her towards the guys who were rushing over to them. "Henry...."

"Is going to see Doc," Jason nodded as he helped Henry towards the hallway. "Now come on," he grabbed her hand and rushed her down the hall to another room. He pulled her to a bookcase and pushed on a bookend. The bookcase opened a little and he pulled it open more. "I need you to be a good girl and go in there and do NOT come out until we come get you, do you understand?"

"Yes Sir," she nodded and he gently shoved her into the panic room. "Henry?"

"He will be okay, Luv," Jason whispered, "I promise."

"Who is dumb enough to do this?" John asked as they looked around the living room.

"Noah mad about what we did to his son?" Gabriel asked.

"No," John shook his head as he hung up his phone. "He swears he's not behind this and said Gregory quit being his son the moment he learned what he was doing to Diana. He said he's got his men out trying to find out who is behind this."

"Good," Gabriel nodded. "They are going to pay, they could have hit her."

"Sirs," one of their bodyguards said as they entered the mansion. "Everyone is deceased."

"Any tips on who they are?" Jason asked, "or why this is happening?"

"No Sir," he shook his head, "It was so sloppy it looks more like someone just trying to step on the territory to prove they are big shots, like new timers."

"Okay," John nodded. "So we're clear? Everyone is okay? Place is fine besides the living room?"

"Yes Sir," he nodded, "already got repairs on the way."

"Good, thanks," John nodded. "I'll go check on Diana."

"We'll help prepare our presents to Poseidon," Jason nodded.

John headed over to the panic room, he opened the safe door and she looked up from the book she was reading. "Everything is okay Sweetheart," he said softly.

"Okay," She nodded, "and Henry?"

"Just a graze to his side," John said as he walked over to her. "Doesn't even need stitches, looks worse than it actually is. He's more worried about you."

"I'm fine," She shrugged, "Just startled me more than anything. I know it comes with who you are. There's no point in trying to ignore it. It also explains times you would suddenly disappear and come back in different clothes. Do you know who is behind it? Was it Gregory or his family?"

"We told you he would not be a problem for you," John said, "so there is no need to worry about that. His family won't be a problem either. His father was actually livid when we told him what he had done to you, he even said he was no son of his because he raised him better than that. You have nothing to worry about Sweetheart, we told you we would protect you and we mean it."

"How?" She asked nervously. "What are you going to do to those bad guys?"

"Wouldn't you rather just not know this side of us?" John asked confused.

"There's no point," She shrugged, "I can try but it would be pointless. If I am staying here, I'm bound to see some stuff and besides I already have plenty of ideas from the books I read. Plus, I hear the rumors and I see how people react to all of you. I'm not oblivious I just chose to purposely ignore it but I still got brought into it so there's no point in trying to be naïve about it anymore."

"Are you sure?" John asked. "We can keep it away from you if you want."

"I just don't want to be scared anymore," She admitted looking down at her hands.
