"Bosses," Henry said as he knocked on Jason's office door. "Another tip came in from that blocked number," he tossed his phone down on the desk.
"What is it?" Jason asked as he picked up the phone. "An address?"
"Well, let's go," Gabriel said standing and reaching for his jacket. "The last three tips were locations of some of the security that stabbed us in the back. This is probably another."
"It's an abandoned warehouse," John said looking up the address. "Why would anyone be at an abandoned warehouse? If it was the men that betrayed us, wouldn't it make more sense to be on the run from us?"
"We won't know unless we go look," Jason said as he stood and grabbed his jacket as well.
They pulled up to the warehouse and looked at each other. They pulled out their guns and followed behind Henry as they approached. He opened the door and they frowned when they were met with silence. They were on high alert as they entered and looked around. The deafening silence and musty air surrounded them threw them for a loop. Where were the gunshots and attacks? Something didn't feel right as they walked around the dead machines. There was dust everywhere, nothing showed that someone had been there recently, in fact it seemed like the perfect place for a horror movie.
They looked at each other in confusion, where they at the right location?
"I don't understand," Henry whispered, "This is the right place, so what is here that this person wanted us to know about?"
"We haven't searched everywhere," John said as he kept looking around.
"Don't fucking say it," Gabriel shook his head. "Don't say it."
"We haven't searched the office," Jason said as he ran his hand over one of the machines then frowning at the striking difference in colors. He wiped the dust on his pants while grimacing, "or the basement."
"You fucking said it," Gabriel sighed, "Why did you have to fucking say it?"
"Because it's the truth," Jason said, "We haven't checked it out. Whoever has been sending us these tips wanted us here for some reason. We need to figure it out and that means searching everywhere."
"Fine," Gabriel huffed in annoyance. "I'll go search the office."
"We go together," Henry shook his head. "We don't know what we are up against yet."
Gabriel nodded and they headed up the stairs across from the front entrance that led up to the main office. "Well that was a bust," John said as he turned the knob and realized it was locked. Jason tried lifting the window but it was locked as well. "Guess that means we're headed down to the basement."
"Fuck," Gabriel muttered as they turned and started heading down the creaking stairs. "I swear if there is a serial killer down there holding prisoners and doing weird fucking experiments, I will never let you hear the end of it."
"No more watching Sweetheart's shows for you," John smirked as he shook his head. "They are making you paranoid, now be on alert."
"Oh trust me," Gabriel shook his head, "I am on high fucking alert. I'm fucking on alert to make sure no goddamn serial killer is going to try and attack us."
"You are fucking ridiculous," Jason chuckled. "If anyone is a serial killer, it would be us."
"Hush," John said as they started descending down the stairs into pitch blackness.
"Where the fuck is the light in this god forsaken place?" Gabriel muttered before being blinded by brightness. "What the fuck?"
"Found the light switch," Henry said as he removed his hand from the switch.
"I couldn't fucking tell," Gabriel rolled his eyes.
"Shut up," John said as he looked around. "What in the world?" He walked across the room and stopped in front of a cloth that was covering a part of the wall. He yanked it off and took a couple of steps back.
"Holy fuck," Jason said blinking repeatedly to make sure he was seeing what he was seeing.
"It's Mi Amor," Gabe gasped as he looked at hundreds of pictures of Diana with them or by herself. There were also notes attached to the board hanging on the wall of her habits and schedules. "Someone was stalking Mi Amor and we never knew?"
"Why would we suspect our own security of doing this?" Jason shook his head. "Hell, we did extensive background checks on them, and they still managed to try and kill us."
"Well thanks to whoever has been sending us these tips, we've managed to get our revenge on most of them," John said as he looked over all the pictures. "We need to find Diana fast."
