"Where is she?" John asked as they stepped off the elevator and noticed her desk was empty and her computer was powered off.

"What the fuck?" Gabriel asked looking around.

"Call Henry now," Jason growled when he tried calling her cellphone and it went straight to voicemail.

"Henry," John said putting his phone on speaker.

"Boss," Henry said calmly.

"Where are the both of you?" John asked trying to remain calm.

"Looking at apartments, Sir," Henry explained. "She tried leaving on her own."

"Why the fuck is she looking at apartments?" Gabriel asked.

"I'm assuming because she no longer feels like she is welcome at your place," Henry said as he stepped out into the hallway. "Or that she feels like she needs her own place so you can resume your previous activities, I don't know for sure."

"Where the fucking hell are you?" Jason growled as he clenched and unclenched his fists.

"I just sent you the location," Henry said as all three of their phones dinged.

"Keep her there," John said hanging up before Henry could respond.

"What the fuck is she thinking?" Gabriel asked as they got back in the elevator.

"I don't fucking know," Jason said shaking his head.

They pulled up to the apartment complex and shook their heads. They got out and instantly growled, not liking the looks of the building. They headed inside and stormed into the room once they spotted their bodyguards.

"We have to keep calm," Jason muttered looking around. "She won't want us to cause a scene."

"Fucking hell," Gabriel growled, "Fine."

"Where is she?" John asked looking around.

"In the master bedroom looking around," Henry said coming down the hall.

They walked down the hall and frowned not liking anything about the apartment, it wasn't up to their standards for anything.

There she stood looking at the closet, they bit back their initial greeting and took deep breaths to calm their anger just slightly.

"Hey Sweetheart," John said trying to remain calm. "What are you doing?"

"Just looking," She said refusing to face them. She could feel their anger from across the room and didn't want to deal with it.

"Why Mi Amor?" Gabriel asked, "what's wrong with our mansion?"

"It's not mine," She shrugged.

"What do you mean Luv?" Jason asked confused, "We don't understand."

"What don't you get?" She asked finally turning to look at them. "It's not my place, it's yours that I'm just staying at."

"It's just as much your place as it is ours," Jason said still confused. "We've told you that."

"If you want to change something then go ahead and do it," Gabriel shrugged.

"Still don't get it," She muttered to herself.

"Well you aren't staying here," John put his foot down, "There is absolutely no security, there isn't even a footman at the entrance of the complex. The hallways are too narrow, you wouldn't have any room to move your bookcases into the spare room, there isn't near enough space for all your stuff. This wont' do at all for you. You will not stay here, we won't risk your safety."

"Yes Sir," She mumbled knowing better than to argue. She walked past them and stopped in front of Henry, "Thank you for bringing me, sorry it was a waste of time." He nodded and she left the apartment and got in Henry's car. "Back to the mansion Ma'am?"

"No, please take me back to work," She said as she looked out the window.

John, Jason, and Gabriel noticed and headed back to the building. By the time they got to their offices, she was at her desk and had her headphones on. She refused to look at them and focused strictly at the work on her computer.

"Is she mad at us?" Gabriel asked once he shut his office door.

"I don't really care if she is or not right now," John shook his head. "That place had absolutely no sense of security at all. She wouldn't not have been safe at all, plus it was too damn small and not good enough for her."

"What the fuck did she mean our place is not hers?" Jason asked. "We've told her over and over if she wanted to change something she could. We don't fucking care what she does to the place, whatever she needs to do to make her feel more like her then we don't care, she still has the card so she can get whatever she fucking wants to make it feel like her home."

"I have no idea," John shook his head. "She is a mystery."
