I will most likely not be on in the next few days, I am having dental work done tomorrow. It will just depend on what they have to do on my mouth to treat these exposed nerves and how I heal on when I will be able to work on these stories again. I will continue working on them as soon as I can, sorry for the delays but I promise I will work on them just as soon as I feel up to it.

Doc Warren looked up as the Kings walked in looking freshly showered and in clean clothes. "I take it we will no longer be having any issues with the prick?" He asked as he sat his notes down.

"No," they said in unison. "How is she?"

"You can stop talking like that," Doc Warren said shaking his head. "It's creepy. Anyway, she received a blood transfusion so she is currently sleeping. I stitched up the knife wounds and applied tiger balm to the bruises. She is dehydrated so she is currently feeling weak and groggy. I performed a rape kit but I do not need to give you the results as you can already figure it out. I take it she will be staying with you for now?"

"Yes," Gabriel nodded and the doctor nodded. He handed Gabriel some prescriptions.

"Here are some antibiotics, and painkillers. I want to keep her here for just a little bit longer to get her rehydrated and to run these strong antibiotics through her to prevent infections."

"That's fine," John nodded. "It will give us time to get a room set up for her. I'll go let the staff know."

"I'll go get these filled," Gabriel nodded.

"I'll go get some stuff for her room and get some books for her as well," Jason said as he watched her sleep peacefully. Despite the bruises and cuts on her face she remained beautiful to them. They knew once she woke, everything between them would change forever. That filled them with anticipation and concern as well.

"I'll remain here," Henry said from the chair beside the door.

In the wee hours in the morning Diana woke and looked around. She was in a room she didn't recognize that was nearly pitch black. The clock beside her read 2:17 am. She lifted her hand to see that an IV was running out of the top of her hand. She blinked a few times and then she could see better and that she was in a hospital of some sort. It didn't feel like a typical hospital though, it had more of a clinic feel to it. She sat up a little and bit back a whimper as her whole body felt sore and on fire. She saw Henry sleeping on the couch underneath a window beside the hospital bed. Memories came rushing back and she pressed the bottom of her hands into her eyes to prevent tears from slipping free. She moved the blanket off of her and carefully shifted to start to get out of bed.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you Ma'am," Henry said gruffly waking up and yawned. "The bosses wouldn't like it if you tried to leave before Doc said you could."

"I don't want to be here Henry," She shook her head. "I want to leave."

"Too bad Sweetheart," John said as he, Jason, and Gabriel came into the room. Gabriel flicked on the light and she groaned at the instant brightness that flooded the room. "Until Doc says you can leave, you are staying here."

"Yes Sir," She nodded and moved back into the bed.

They looked at each other, not really liking how easily she gave in to them. They wanted their spitfire back but knew it would take some time to get her back to feeling comfortable and confident to be defiant with them once again.

Gabriel took a breath then said, "You are going to be staying with us until you are fully healed and we find an apartment that is safe for you as well Mi Amor."

"Yes Sir," She said looking down at her hands.

"Luv, can I ask you something?" Jason asked concerned.

"Yes Sir," She said refusing to look up at them.

"How did you know what we are?" he asked a little nervously.

"I recognized the signs from some of the books I read," She admitted. "Also the way people reacted around you, I could tell you were up to something shady. Some of the reports in financing didn't add up to the reports I saw as well as the trident tattoos you each have on your arms. It just clicked and made sense," she shrugged.

"Oh," Jason said in shock. "You aren't scared?"

"No," She shook her head. "Call it naivety or what but I just knew you wouldn't drag me into all that. Seems I found myself in it anyway."

"We will keep protecting you, Mi Amor," Gabriel said and she nodded softly. "Do you have any questions for us?"

She shook her head, "I'd rather just go back to acting like I didn't know anything."

"Okay," John nodded. "Well, if you do just ask, we don't mind answering." She nodded and shifted to lay back down. She shifted so her back was to them and they got the message she was done talking. They didn't like this side of her and hoped it wasn't going to last long.

"We took care of Gregory," Jason said softly. "He will no longer be a problem for anyone." She didn't say anything or give any sign that she even heard them. They looked at each other and mentally agreed, they official hated this and couldn't wait until she was back to herself. They would do whatever they needed to in order to help her heal from this and become the firey woman she once was.
