"Fuck this!" Jason screamed as he threw the files he was currently holding across his desk. "I don't want to fucking be here! We need to keep searching for Diana! She has been missing for six months now!"
"I know," John sighed as he leaned back in his chair, "but we also have to attend these meetings she already had scheduled for us."
"Do we really?" Gabriel asked as he bent down and picked up the papers. "Seriously, it's not like she is going to know if we went to them or not."
"You know as well as I do that she will skin us alive if we don't attend and screw up these plans," John shook his head. "Do you remember how quickly she switched her personality when she was pissed at us then answered the company phone? I don't want to deal with that personally when we bring her back from wherever in the hell she is. I have no problem admitting she is the one person in the world that scares the hell out of all three of us."
"Fine," Jason mumbled, "but the moment we are done we are going back to searching for her."
"No shit," John sighed as he straightened his already straight tie.
Just then the phone on her desk began to ring. The guys looked at one another sadly then John picked up the phone, "Anderson, Martinez, and Williams Agency, how can I help you?" He picked up a pen out of her favorite pen holder and shifted the notebook so he could write better if he needed to. He stood straight up, catching the attention of Jason and Gabriel. "Excuse me?" John asked confused. "One second I need to put you on speaker." John pushed some buttons then cleared his throat, "Could you repeat that please?"
"I was saying Mr. Anderson," The male voice came through nervously, "that I wanted to let you know before it was released to the public some information on Tech Co. It seems that an anonymous tip was sent to the FBI and BBB about embezzlement, conspiracy, theft, falsifying reports, and some other things but the biggest one was that some evidence was sent to both that tied Tech Co to terrorists. They were invaded a couple of hours ago and the tips were proved to be accurate, so the company has been shut down and everyone was arrested and currently being investigated. I just thought you should know before anyone else and before it gets released to the public. It is going to be a huge thing when the press finds out."
"Que?" Gabriel asked in complete disbelief.
"It is the truth," The man said, "I have sent a copy of everything I have to all three of you, you will be receiving it shortly."
"And the anonymous tipster?" Jason asked curiously. "Was it someone working for them or someone else? How did they get that kind of information if they weren't working for them? It has to be an insider from the sound of it."
"I have no idea," the man said, "I have tried everything in my sources to find out who sent the information, but I haven't been able to find anything. The email that was sent was immediately closed after sending the information and I tried tracing, but it kept getting rerouted all over the globe. The phone number goes to a burner phone that is turned off as well. Whoever this person is knows really how to stay under the radar and prevent getting caught. They are a damn good ghost but I am still looking. I can't gather any other information, sorry."
"Thanks," John said. "We appreciate it." John hung up the phone and turned to Henry.
"Not me Boss," Henry shook his head. "I know nothing about Tech Co. I've been too busy trying to hunt down the runners anyway."
"You don't think?" Jason asked and John shook his head.
"We don't even know where she is. We don't know if she is being held prisoner or if she just ran. If she is a prisoner then there is definitely no way she would send in that information. If she ran from us, then why would she send in the information to help us out? Either way doesn't make sense. It's not Sweetheart. We aren't their only competition, so it was probably one of them that gathered whatever information and sent it in to bring them down."
"If you say so," Gabriel said. "Well, that cancels our meetings now so let's go find our girl."
