"Don't wake her up," Diana slowly started to wake hearing Gabriel and Jason talking.
She shifted and was met with silence. She felt arms wrap around her back holding her in place and she sighed in happiness as she heard a steady heartbeat in her ears. She didn't know what it was but listening to it was comforting and soothing. She felt safe, that's what it was. Someone kissed the top of her head and tightened their grip as the darkness of sleep cover her once more.
Gabriel looked up as he felt Diana melt into his hold and whispered, "She needs to sleep."
"Fifteen more minutes then she absolutely has to get up or we will be late to the appointment," Jason whispered as he left the room.
Gabriel sighed and ran his hands up and down her back softly being careful of her wounds back there. Memories of the night before filled his head, he was worried when she tried to leave and then she tried to be independent and sleep in her room. All three of them kept checking on her after she fell asleep to make sure she didn't try to leave again. They were all worried about her leaving them and didn't like that she felt she wasn't their one true love. They did understand her reasoning and they hated themselves for having her feel that way. They wanted to do whatever it took to get rid of those thoughts and never contribute to her feeling that way ever again. He had to admit he was constantly checking to make sure their doorway was left open so she knew she was welcome to join them when she no longer wanted to sleep alone.
Waking to her climbing in the bed at one in the morning was the biggest relief to him. She just pulled the blanket back and climbed over him then laid on top of John and wrapped herself around him and sighed in happiness as Gabriel and Jason covered everyone back up. She pouted then smiled after they wrapped their arms around her and drifted back to sleep. He wasn't really sure when she climbed on to him but he thought it was when John and Jason got up to start making coffee and breakfast. She had a tendency of going to all of them throughout the night, he didn't really care and neither did they either. They just held her and drifted back to sleep.
He looked up as the door opened. Jason looked at him and he nodded so Jason left. He kissed the top of her head and quit rubbing her back, "Time to wake up Mi Amor," he whispered and chuckled as he felt her tighten her grip on him. "Come on Mi Amor, you need to wake up so you have time to eat."
"No," she pouted as she shifted to try and get more comfortable so she could go back to sleep.
"The guys made your favorite breakfast," He tried to not laugh at how cute she was being. "Chocolate chip pancakes and sausage."
"No," She whined, "Seepy. Lay with me some more Gabriel."
"I am Mi Amor," He smiled that she didn't want to move. She kept them so distant during the day but while she was still in the midst of sleep and waking she was so cuddly, they loved it. "But John and Jason are going to be in here any minute to make sure you are getting up. We have a surprise."
"No like surprises," She whined. "Want sleep."
"You will like this surprise Sweetheart," John said as they came in. "Now it is time to get up. We can't be late to the appointment."
"Want sleep," She whined as she tightened her grip on Gabriel. "Sleep doesn't hurt."
"Oh Luv," Jason sighed in understanding what she was trying to say. "How about we go to the appointment and then once we get back I will get some medicine that Doc left to help you get sleep and you take a nap?"
"I want to sleep now," She pouted as she let a tear slip down.
John wiped it and forced himself to not show the anger that was coursing through his veins. He really wanted to torture that stupid bitch and asshole for what they did to her. He hated himself also for being with that slut and he knew the guys felt the same way.
"I'm sorry Sweetheart but we really have to go to this appointment and I have a really good feeling you will like it once we get there," he said soothingly.
"Can't we just reschedule?" She yawned then winced as her lip reopened slightly.
"If we could we would," Gabriel said as he slowly and carefully slid up to a sitting position so to no jostle her as much as possible. "We can't though, we really must get up Mi Amor."
She sighed in agitation, "Fine." She got off of him and headed to her room.
"She will be excited once we get there," John sighed. "We knew she didn't like surprises so we can't take this personally."
"Plus she isn't a morning person and she's in pain," Gabriel said as he got out of bed.
"I'll give her a pain pill after she eats," Jason said as they left the room so Gabriel could get dressed.
"Apple juice or chocolate milk Sweetheart?" John asked as she slowly came into the dining room and carefully sat in the chair.
"I don't know," She admitted as she sighed.
"Take a few bites so you can take this, Luv," Jason said as he brought over all her medicine.
"Thank you," She said as he sat her plate in front of her and she noticed it was already all cut up for her. "I'm sorry for earlier."
"It's alright," John smiled, "we know you aren't a morning person." He noticed she was having trouble with her grip like her muscles were tightening up so he glanced at Jason then down at her arms then back at him.
"Can I feed you Luv?" Jason asked as he sat down, "Please? I want to, you didn't cuddle with me as much as John and Gabriel last night."
She rolled her eyes and sat her fork down. John smirked and sat her chocolate milk down then walked back into the kitchen. He sent Gabriel a text letting him know then started cleaning the kitchen.
"Will you feed me too?" Gabriel asked as he sat down at the table.
"You aren't special enough," Jason chuckled, "Besides you got to cuddle with her more than I did."
"Not my fault she likes me more," Gabriel smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"I tolerate all of you equally," She retorted causing them to burst into laughter.
"What's going on in here?" John asked curiously.
"I don't have favorites," She glared at him, "I tolerate all of you equally."
John chuckled and shook his head, "I'll keep that in mind, Sweetheart."
