John grabbed the bags of food while Jason paid for everything and Gabriel got the drinks. "Hopefully she won't be too stubborn and will actually eat," Gabe sighed.
"It's her favorite Chinese," John said while holding the door open. "She will eat, if anything she will just wait until she thinks we aren't watching."
"Do you think she actually won't go to the company party tonight?" Jason asked and John shook his head. "What do you think she is going to do then?"
"Seriously?" Gabe asked as they walked back to the car. "She bought another fucking bookcase and a shit ton of books. She's going to be rearranging all her goddamn books then start start reading one of the new ones she bought."
"Of course our girl would rather buy books than clothes or shoes or make up," John chuckled. "Give her the company card and she buys books instead of anything else."
"Who the fuck is that?" John growled as they pulled and saw Diana standing with a tall muscular man. He towered over her 5'4" frame making them easily guess he was a little over six feet tall. He wore dark blue jeans and a rock band shirt. He had a beard and eluded frustration as the guys walked over to them. They could see she was holding some papers and had a mixture of frustration and fear on her face. Her brown hair was down to her waist and part of it fell in front of her face. She wasn't the same fiery girl from a few minutes ago. They didn't like it.
"Just sign the paper please so we can end the contract," She said holding up the papers in her hand. John, Jason, and Gabriel looked at each other in confusion.
"You have no right to make demands," The man pointed a finger at her. "I am your Master and you are the Sub, you listen to me."
"I'm sorry," She slunk into herself. The guys frowned, they didn't like it. "Will you please sign to end the contract? The relationship between us is over so there is no reason to keep the contract. Please release me from this."
"No," He shook his head. "I say when we are over and we are not. Just because you don't like me sleeping around when you won't give me what I want doesn't give you the right to end the relationship. When you signed that contract, you gave me all the power and control. I have the right to punish you when I see fit, I have the right to fuck whoever I want and you can't protest it. I control everything. You don't have the power in the relationship, I gained everything when you signed the contract."
"Please," She begged, "please release me. I want out of this dynamic."
"I said no," He clenched his fist. "You are making me mad not listening. I won't warn you again."
"You're not listening to me either," She protested. "I want out. I did give you my power but I want it back. I no longer want to be with you. I'm not happy anymore, you're not listening to me. Please release me and sign the paperwork to end the contract."
"I said no!" He growled. "Now stop being a brat and get your things, we're leaving."
She shook her head, "I'm not being a brat, I'm pleaded with you to set me free. We both aren't happy. Sign the paper and end the contract, please. I've already taken off my collar, what more do you need in order to see that I'm done? I've made my decision, I want my power back."
"She's right you know?" John said walking over to them. "The sub has the ultimate power."
"Stay out of this," Gregory growled. "This is none of your business."
"What are you doing here?" Diana asked shocked.
"We were getting lunch," John said holding up the food. "Are you okay?"
"She's fine," Gregory said crossing his arms. "Who are you?"
"These are my bosses, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Martinez, and Mr. Williams," She said looking down at the ground. "This is Gregory, my ex."
"We aren't through," Gregory growled. "This isn't over."
"Pretty sure it is," Jason said crossing his arms. "She made it perfectly clear that she wants out of the relationship. While the sub may give you her power willingly for a time, she has the ultimately power to end everything by her decision. A true Dom knows this and respects it."
Gregory glared then stormed off. She jumped when she heard his car door slam shut. She took a moment to collect herself then slowly raised her eyes to see her bosses staring at her with concern. "Office now Sweetheart," John commanded.
