Once Gordon and Allie got to the meeting spot they stood there waiting for the kids. On the walk over the wind started to pick up; the summers in Minnesota were warm but chilly at the same time. Allie was talking with Gordon as she started to shudder from the wind. Gordon started to take off his Ducks letterman jacket.

"You look like you're getting cold. Take my jacket." Gordon said as he was handing Allie the jacket. Allie grabbed it and put it on. It was a bit big on her, but she didn't mind.

"Wow, look at that it fits," Allie chuckled. "Thank you." She smiled at him; just as Gordon was going to say something to her, they heard a duck call in the distance. They turned their heads and saw all the kid's roller blading to them as they were cheering; Allie and Gordon both joined in on the cheering.

"Welcome back Ducks!" Gordon exclaimed. "I really missed you guys, are you ready to fly?"

"Yeah!" they all exclaimed. Then suddenly, a horn started honking. Allie and Gordon both turned around, Allie knew who this was, so she rolled her eyes in a playful manner. The kids were confused, so all they could say was,

"Who's that?"

"Who's in there?"

"Definitely can't be from this neighborhood." Jesse told everyone. Just as Jesse said that Don popped up from the sunroof.

"Hey, guys I'm Don Tibbles." Don told the kids, "Hendrix Hockey Apparel. We're your official sponsors. Anybody want a card?" Gordon turned to Allie, put his arm around her waist, and looked at her trying not to laugh; Allie just smiled at him. Then they saw all the kids run past them to grab a card from Don. Gordon and Allie let out silent laughs as Gordon grabbed Allie's hand and headed towards the car to talk to Don.

When they got in Gordon sat by Don while Allie sat across from them. Don cleared his throat and greeted them.

"Nice wheels." Gordon said. "I used to ride around in one of these." Allie rolled her eyes again as she shook her head, and tugged Gordon's jacket closer to her body.

"Well," Don started, "I got something to show you two. It's your contract with Hendrix."

"I've been trying to figure this out. What does Hendrix want with us?" Gordon asked.

"You." Allie corrected. "What does Hendrix want with you." Gordon just looked at her and she gave him a small smile. "They didn't want me, remember? They wanted you." she added as she put her hand on his knee and gave him another small smile.

"R-right." Gordon hesitated still looking at Allie; he then turned back to Don. "I'm just a coach."

"Pat Riley, Bear Bryant, Mike Ditka. Are they just coaches?" Don questioned. "Gordon, today coaches have images. Images mean dollars. I sell you; you sell the sport. We both get rich. How does that sound?" as soon as those words left Dons mouth Allie couldn't help but feel slightly sick, like her stomach did summersaults, but not in a good way.

"Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against making money." Gordon started but Don cut him off.

"No Gordon, a lot of money." Don showed Gordon the amount. His eyes went huge.

"You're going to pay us that much to endorse sports wear?" Don looked Gordon in the eye.

"We're going to pay YOU that much." Don reassured really emphasizing the 'you'. Allie just looked down at her hands that were in her lap. "Gordon, life can be great when you know the right people. What do you say?"

"Gordon maybe we should look-" Allie started but was cut off by her boyfriend.

"Got a pen?" Allie couldn't help but feel anxious. She felt like something bad was going to happen. Allie and Gordon got out of the car. It seemed like the kids have dispersed. Gordon grabbed Allies hand and started heading towards Allies apartment. Allie still felt a little uneasy about this whole thing. This was supposed to be fun right? Right?

"You, okay?" Gordon asked her. Allie just nodded her head in response. "I don't believe you."

"I don't know. I just feel like we should have looked over the contract more. That's all, I promise."

"Trust me Allie, this could be great for us. I can feel it." Gordon said. Allie looked at him and smiled. She was just overthinking again; she hoped.

"Okay, I'll trust you. Now let's go to my place I'm hungry." Allie responded as she dragged Gordon to her place. Even though Allie was still skeptical, she decided to push that feeling deep, deep down. Hopefully she won't regret all of this.
