Set the New Year off

As the small birthday part passed and the tea party finished off. Y/n was (trying to) helping out in cooking and preparing it was the about 1h 30m away from the new year, although it was only two, I guess it what makes it special... this is how it how always been, either with their mother or... with their father. 

those memories with their mother have long passed and have lost to time. they don't remember anything after the attack. they had no idea what she was like who she was or what she even looked like... "are you alright?" Zhongli asked, Y/n looked up at their father. "you seem tired... go and rest, I can handle the rest"

"but I want to help!" Y/n said, "don't push yourself, young one save your energy" Zhongli said. "but what if I don't to go to bed!" 

"well, take a walk" Y/n sighed and slowly walked out of the parlor. Y/n walked around liyue, They could hear the families enjoying their presence. They sat down on bench and just laid on the bench.

"Oi! comeback! why do I need to do the cooking!?" Hu tao called out, "isn't this year for Y/n?" Zhongli closed the door. "hehehehe! she just cook it for me!" hu tao said as she began to scheme.

Y/n woke in the arms, of Ganyu. "oh! did I wake you up?" y/n shook their head. "have, you ever wondered, how you were made?" "what do you mean... Y/n?"

"well... nothing" Y/n said laying on her stomach. "shouldn't be back home?" "oh well, I wanted to take a walk before the new year" they said, 

"but It's only 10 minutes before the new year-" Y/n's world stopped time... "20 minutes? I slept for an hour?" Y/n jumped and Ran back to The funeral parlor. "y/n?... Y/N!!!" Ganyu began to panic thinking that she lost Y/n.

"~Hiruchaaru no onii-san ga byouki ni natta... Hiruchaaru no onee-san ga kanbyou-"  *BANG!!!!* she turned to the door, "ahaha! Zhongli is out right if you want to see him he's-" Y/n was already gone, Hu tao shrugged. "Hiruchaaru no onii-san ga byouki ni natta!... Hiruchaaru no onee-san ga kanbyou shite♪... Hiruchaaru no onii-san ga kusuri wo nonde mo naoranai!!!..."

Y/n began to wander around liyue. trying to find their father. "Y/n there you are!" They ran pasted ganyu, "wait comeback!" she said trying to catch to them, 

5 minutes... before the new year. still no Zhongli Y/n walk back where they started. Y/n laid down back on the bench. 

y/n closed their eyes and block out all sound. Zhongli sat down next to them, "Is it new year yet?" Y/n asked, "let's go" Y/n pouted, "There's no need to pout" Y/n crossed their arms. "let's go" 

"to where?" they asked, "a concert"
