CHAPTER : TWENTY - FIVE

Eleanor

"We're here to talk" My Dad voice screams authority that makes me sit on the couch.

We're here on our mansion unwillingly and by force. I don't have any choice but to go here even it is against my will but for the sake of my scholarship.

I may also sound disrespectful but I know how to be scared sometimes.

"Have a seat first Iha." My Mom said and let Ma'am sit beside me.

Agad kong hinawakan ang kamay ni Ma'am at pinagsaklop ang aming daliri. Sumama lang siya sakin dahil hindi daw niya ako hahayaan na mapag isa. Naalala ko na naman tuloy kanina na nakipag titigan pa siya sa iilang tauhan ni Dad pero siya ang nahalo dahil mga natakot. Isang tingin lang pala ni Ma'am wala na sila eh. Baka Avaline 'yan.

I can see the wedding ring on her finger, it is really suit her. I'm the one who chose that wedding ring. Syempre kapag maganda automatic maganda talaga ako.

I gently brush my fingers on her.

"Pay attention Mi Amor." Bulong niya sakin tsaka ako hinapit sa bewang gamit ang kanang kamay niya.

I heard my Dad cleared his throat before he speaks up.

"We know that you still mad at us, Eleanor. But please hear us out first." I can hear the desperation on my Dad's Voice.

I heaved a deep sigh first and looked at them.

"Hear them out, Mi Amor please..." Ma'am said and tightened her grips on me.

Wala naman akong magagawa tatlo sila tapos isa lang ako, lugi ako pero ito na rin siguro ang oras para pakinggan sila. Masyado nang mabigat sa dibdib kong ipapatagal ko pa lalo ng wala akong dibdib.

"Fine..."

I'm going to her them out first. Nakapagod na rin ang may sama ng loob.

Dad seems to be nervous right now based on his facial expression while Mom were just calm but you can see that she's stopping herself to cry.

"W-we don't intend to l-leave you behind A-anak...." My Dad's voice cracked and his starts to tremble that is resting on his lap.

"We busied ourselves to protect you from someone who wants to abduct you and get a hold of us." Dad continues. Marahan namang hinawakan ni Mom ang kamay ni Dad dahil sa ngiti miski ang labi niya ay ganu'n rin.

"W-we pretended that we don't care about you so they cannot touch you and use you as their bait to us." Pagpapatuloy niya at tiningnan ako sa mata.

No doubt that I got my eyes from him and my feature from my Mother.

"Those morons wants our money and power and them for able to do that they will use our only heiress against us!" Dad yelled and his face turned red as he burst out his anger. Tears started to streams down on his face even mine.

"Leandro.. calm down." Mom hushed him.

"I won't let those greedy people hurt my princess.... S-she's meant to me." Dad looked at me with a teary eyed.

This is the Second time I saw my father burst out in crying.

The first one I saw him crying when the time my knees got hurt because of too much playing and I can't walk that time for a couple of days, Dad won't stop crying and giving us a tantrums.

"I'm going to do everything just to protect my d-daughter even my life will be the r-return."

"Hindi namin sinadya na talikuran ang responsibilidad at obligasyon namin sayo. We act like a tyrant leader to you just to let our enemy to that we didn't care about you at all so they cannot use you as their target."
