Josie's pov
I'm sitting on my bed and I keep rereading the letter I wrote for Hope 5 minutes ago. In the letter I wrote that I have feelings for her, but I'm too afraid to go give it to her because what if she doesn't feel the same way and that ruins our friendship
Lizzie told me that I should go tell her how I feel, but I'm scared. I'm snapped out of my thoughts by the door opening and I quickly put the letter behind my back in case it's Hope
Lizzie walks in and looks at me ''Hey Jo is everything okay'' I sigh and take a deep breath, I take the letter from behind my back and that's when Lizzie notices and walks over to me and sits down
''Is that what I think it is'' I sigh again ''If you think it's a letter for Hope where I wrote how I feel about her then yes it is'' Lizzie jumps up from the bed excitingly ''Well, what are you waiting for go give it to her''
My eyes widen and I shake my head ''No, are you crazy because what if she doesn't feel the same way and that ruins our friendship'' Lizzie rolls her eyes ''Stand up'' I look at her confused, but stand up
She slaps me on the arm hard ''Oww'' I rub my arm and look at her ''What the hell Lizzie, you didn't have to hit me'' she rolls her eyes ''Take it as 'I hit your stupidity out your body' slap because you are blind
She feels the same way about you idiot, so go give her the letter now because I know she will say yes and as much as it will be gross watching my sister and best friend be all lovey dovey
I want you both to be happy and you make each other happy and I already seen it, so go now before I take that letter and give it to Hope myself'' I smile and hug her tightly and she hugs back the same
We pull away and I look at her ''Thanks Liz'' I take a deep breath and look at the letter in my hands, I then look back at Lizzie and she nods with a smile on her face and pushes me towards the door
''Go and text me if you won't come back'' she winks and I roll my eyes and walk out my room and start walking to Hope's room, I come in front of Hope's room and knock on the door
A few minutes passes and nobody answers and I look at the time and I realize that she might be training with my dad. I take a deep breath and slide the letter under her door and then I walk back to my room
I walk into the room and Lizzie looks at me confused ''Did you give her the letter'' I sit down on my bed and look at her ''She wasn't in her room, so I just slipped the letter under her door and I will wait until she texts me or something''
Lizzie smiles and nods ''Okay and I'm proud of you for putting yourself out there'' I smile ''Thanks Liz, you are a really great sister'' she flips her hair ''I know I am''
I roll my eyes ''Okay, I take it back'' she looks at me hurt and puts her hand on her heart dramatically ''You hurt me Jo'' I roll my eyes, but I smile at her and she smiles back
She walks over to me and sits down and we start talking about everything and nothing and I try not to think about Hope's reaction to my letter
Hope's pov
I just finished training with Alaric and I'm on my way back to my room. I unlock the door to my room and the first thing I see is some letter on the ground, I pick it up and look at it confused
I open the letter and start reading
Dear Hope
I have something to tell you and I might ruin my friendship with you by telling you this, but I can't deny it anymore. I like you Hope as more than a friend and I was scared to tell you because I know you probably don't feel the same way about me and that's okay.
