Mrs. Love didn't make me speak in front of the classroom, which was good. However, she did imply that I would answer any questions that would be asked to me, even though I would probably give them short to no answers at all.

Giving Damion the key was probably the worst idea that I had done this whole entire time of being around him. I didn't know what he would do, and I hoped that he didn't blame me for anything that had happened. It was all out of my control, because I had been a young girl at that time and didn't know or understand what was happening to me.

Laurie whined, knowing where my thoughts were going. She, and I, hoped that he wouldn't reject us, even though we weren't pure. I moved a hand through my hair and sighed, not able to concentrate on whatever Mrs. Love was teaching.

I could tell that Damion wasn't paying that much attention either, because of him muttering whatever I had written on a sheet of paper. I just hoped that he would have enough sense to destroy the piece of paper, because I would probably die of embarrassment if someone had gotten ahold of it.

Damion growled softly, causing Mrs. Love to stop her lecture and me look up at him. He was looking at me with a look of pure hatred and anger, that it actually caused Laurie to whimper slightly.

I frowned and turned back around, raising my hand. I couldn't stay here with a pissed off Damion, because I had no idea what he was going to do.

"Yes, Miss Evergreen?" she asked, glancing at me.

"May I go to the restroom?" I asked. "I didn't get to go at lunch because there was a bitch problem."

This caused a couple of snickers and a frown from Mrs. Love. "What your language, Miss Evergreen. We do not call people bitches. Uh I-I mean... dumb people."

This caused a couple of barks of laughter because she had used the word that we were not allowed to say.

"Yes, Ma'am," I replied, getting up and leaving to go to the restroom. I couldn't help but chew on my lip while I wondered what exactly made Damion pissed. Was it something that I had no control over, or was it the fact that someone had done their deed without a care in the world?

I shook my head and washed my face, still feeling sick. Even though I had been really young at the time, I could still remember their drunk breaths on my face while they "made love" to me.

I looked up at the mirror to see the dark blue bags under my eyes, knowing that I was going to need a good night sleep, even though that wasn't possible with my busy schedule. I shook my head and turned away from the mirror, not wanting to notice the things that were wrong with me. I knew that I wasn't really pretty and acted like I didn't really care, when in reality I did.

A knock on the door, broke me from my thoughts and a sharp 'Bethany Ann' sounded from behind the door that lead to the girl's bathroom.

"I'm the only one in," I called out, knowing that it was Damion. I turned back to the sink and placed my hands on the counter and stared at it as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. However, the only reason that I had done this was so that I wouldn't look at the male who had entered the girls bathroom for the second time that day.

"You left?" he said, making it sound like a question. He went behind me and tried to catch my eye in the mirror, even though I wasn't looking at him. "Why?"

I sighed. "You were angry," I muttered. "You glared at me, and I thought it was directed at me."

Damion sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "It's not at you," he replied. "It's at the people that would hurt what is mine." There was a growl in his voice, causing me to shiver. He placed his arms around me and pulled me against his chest.

I huffed when he buried his face into my neck and started to smell my scent. "Um... what are you doing?" I asked.

"Calming my Wolf," he replied. "We have to have close contact with our mates to make sure that they don't lose control. We either hug them and smell their scent or have the other hug us also."

"Oh," I replied. With that, I turned around in his arms and actually gave him a hug. I couldn't help but roll my eyes when I felt Damion loosen his hold on me. I huffed, grabbing one of his hands and pulling him back into a hug. "You might want to do this as long as it takes you to relax, Damion. If you don't do anything, then this will be the last time for you to hold me."

This caused Damion to growl out a "Mine" while he buried his face into my neck again. After a few minutes, he pulled away and just smiled at me. "Thank you, Bethany Ann. I did need that."

I nodded my head. "Well, let's go to class." I shifted on my feet, feeling slightly uncomfortable.

Damion nodded his head. "Ya, let's go to class." With that, we walked out of the bathroom at the same time, and I was glad that nobody was around to see us.
