Well... Goodbye

(A/N: So uhh... this is the end of Andy's story. Got a warning for you all. It gets really REALLY dark. But uhh, enjoy the end of this story. It's been fun, keep an eye out for the next part.)

Andy was relaxing on the rooftop after the chaos inside. It was genuinely terrifying how creative they were with fighting. Turns out that Ace's cooking was something he was sensitive about. Well not that Andy really cares, he was content looking up at the moonless sky... oh shit he destroyed the moon, he completely forgot about that. Man, to think that took all of his strength back then.

Andy: I wonder... Moon, come on back.

It took a minute and a good chunk of his magic, but the moon came back.

Andy: Man I must be a menace to this world.

A scream disrupted his thoughts, Andy was immediately aware of a shift below him. An intruder? How did he get past his senses? Andy shot up and immediately rushed back inside, What he found was terrible. All his friends, dead on the ground. And towering over them all was... him. It was Andy, but twisted, broken. Andy yelled out and charged his counterpart. His counterpart dodged and stabbed Andy's eye out, before immediately disappearing. Andy looked around like a mad man, trying to find him again, before giving up and falling to his knees.

Andy: God damn it, I should've stayed down here, I could have protected them.

Andy tried every combination of words he could think of, trying to bring them back. He was ready to give up, when he noticed something. A life, inside of one of them. His eyes opened wide in shock, and he immediately did what he was hesitant to do before.

Andy: ALEX!

Andy spoke with magic, grief, and intensity. Alex immediately appeared before him.

Alex: Wow, first time I've been summoned like that. Wow you got a whole hell of a lot stronger, little Crusader.

Andy: Cut the shit, bring them back, Any price.

Alex: Well then, that's a tall order. It will cost you.

Andy: Anything.

Alex: Well then. It will cost... you.

Andy: Fine, I will die in their stead.

Alex: No, it will cost your memory. The memories of you will disappear, and you will be incapable of interacting with any of them. Also I have to tell you, you will lose your status as a crusader, you will lose access to your inventory and the shop as well as any ability you bought from the shop. Dealing with me more than once has this effect. You will still be able to cross dimensions though.

Andy: Done, but can I at least say goodbye?

Alex: One minute. That's what you get, and don't worry I'll send them somewhere safe. No version of you can interact with them.

Alex wrote something in his notebook, and everyone was brought to life, their wounds healing, snapping was heard as bones reconnected. In almost no time, their eyes opened and they all looked at Andy.

Andy: Listen up, I only have a minute. You all died, I killed you. I brought you to life at the cost of you forgetting me. Take the railjack, I have no need for it now. You will never see me again. Alex will send you to a safe dimension as part of the deal. Oh, and one last thing. I love all of you.

He was crying by the end of his speech, as was everyone else. Alex had to physically force them into the Railjack, and send them on their way. He then turned to Andy with a sigh.

Alex: Well, there really is no way to prepare you for this. But brace yourself.

Alex literally grabbed the essence of Andy's memory, and just before he severed it, decided to tell him something.

Alex: If it's any consolation, your kid will be able to interact with you.

Alex tore it away from the mortal plane, across the entire multiverse. Only those connected to the true God, or Satan remembered him. And they all felt the shift. Andy fell to the ground in pain, not physical no, he had lost the gamer's mind, seeing as it was bought from the shop. And without that defense, he broke apart from the trauma.

Alex had seen enough, and left. The work of a wish granter was never done.
