<3"stop your whining."
osamu grumbled, pushing you off his shoulder. you were throwing a tantrum because you friend wouldn't play with you. yes, you were childish.
"can't you play for like.. 5 minutes?" you asked, tugging at the sleeve of his shirt, but he pushed you away with ease.
osamu gave you an annoyed glance before his attention turned back to his homework. he was sitting at his desk, writing down some notes.
"go annoy my brother or something. i'm actually doing something."
you scowled, annoyed with your friend's lack of attention. this was one of the few times he was actually doing his homework, so you obliged.
you left his room to let him finish his assignment, then made your way to his brother's room. you stopped outside his door, placing your ear against the door when you heard him talking. it seemed like he might've been on the phone with someone.
crap. you thought, scowling. now you had no one to annoy.
just when you decided you could make conversation with ms. miya the talking stopped. you heard light footsteps, then the door opened. atsumu smiled lightly, "y/n, what are you doing here?"
you shrugged in response, "i don't know, i just wanted to see what you were doing."
you knew atsumu wouldn't believe that.
despite being osamu's best friend, you weren't that close to his brother. they were very different people, and quite frankly, you always thought atsumu was arrogant.
he wasn't the worst though, you could enjoy his company.
and as cliche as it was, atsumu was the school's heart-throb. he had a reputation with girls and it was obvious he enjoyed the attention.
he stared at you skeptically, then scoffed, "you annoyed him, huh?"
you rolled your eyes, before slipping past him and stepping into his room, "noo.. i didn't."
"yeah, alright," he said, watching you get comfy in his room. you plopped down on his bed and wrapped yourself in his blankets. he didn't seem to mind.
as you sat down, you noticed his phone was still open to a call. so he was talking to someone. you silently mouthed the words, "you're still on call?"
atsumu grabbed his phone, pulling it up to his ear.
"hey, sorry about that," the line was silent until he spoke again, "i'll call you later, yeah?"
with that he hung up, and placed his phone down.
you felt a little guilty for interrupting their call.
"sorry if i interrupted."
atsumu shook his head, "you didn't."
"mm.. are you sure? it seemed that way."
"seriously, it's fine. don't overthink it.
you decided to put it to rest. still, you couldn't helo but feel a twinge of guilt. it sounded like he had been talking to a girl. again, you pushed the thought to the back of your head.
"so what's up? how'd you annoy osamu?" he asked, a playful smirk playing on his lips.
you pursed your lips at his question, "i was just asking him to play a game, but for once in his life he's actually doing homework."
atsumu let out a short laugh at the hostility in your voice.
"i mean.. i could play with you."
your smiled, "please! i'm so bored."
he stood up from the bed, walking over to the t.v. underneath it was a small table that held a few of his games and controllers. he grabbed one, tossing it to you.
"it'll cost you though."
a small sigh slipped past your lips, "of course there was a catch."
"my services aren't free." he responded, an impish grin adorning his face.
"what's your price, atsumu?"
"onigiri,"
you laughed quietly. of course that was it.
"fine. i'll buy you onigiri after this."
atsumu grinned, his gaze shifting to the games in front of him now, "great! so what game?"
you ended up picking a pretty basic game: mario kart. atsumu made fun of you, but you reminded him that he was the person who bought it in the first place.
you played for a few hours, finding it surprisingly fun. atsumu cheated a few times however, which led to you and him cursing each other out.
the giggling and cursing stopped when osamu came into the room, his face distorted with frustration.
"how are you still distracting me when you're in another room?" he grumbled, staring you down.
you frowned, but atsumu seemed to think that this was amusing.
"boo-hoo," atsumu laughed, refusing to pause the game.
osamu turned to the t.v, scowling, "you bums are playing without me?"
"you told me to annoy atsumu!" you reminded him.
"he did?" atsumu asked, still trying to win this race like his life depended on it, "you're doing a horrible job."
osamu scoffed, "really? normally she's great at that."
you rolled your eyes, but you knew he was only teasing.
"i love it when you razz me," your voice was laced with sarcasms, earning an eye roll from your friend.
"well can you turn it down a little? i'm almost done."
"yeah," your answer satisfied him and he left with a quick nod.
"YES!" atsumu suddenly shouted, causing you to jump, and you were sure that osamu had heard him as well, "i won," he grinned at you.
"because you cheated!"
"fine! if you really want a rematch i guess we could go again. i'm just gonna beat your ass again though."
"shut up, you cheater."
