<3you knocked on osamu's door but there was no response. you knocked a second time and still nothing.
you turned the knob and realized it was open. you stepped in to find osamu on his laptop, his eyes glued to the screen even when you came in.
you sensed something was off. very off. your heart sank when you realized he might've heard what atsumu said. but then again, osamu didn't normally pay attention to comments like that,
this was throwing you off.
you sat next to him slowly, "samu? are you okay?"
"yeah. i'm focused is all."
he sounded sincere, yet, you still didn't think he was being truthful. you knew osamu's tolerance for you so you left it at that.
"okay then. what do you need help with?"
-
osamu simply wanted you to help with english. luckily, english wasn't a hard subject for you.
for a second you wondered why he didn't just call atsumu, and then you remembered that sometimes osamu hates his brother's guts. or he claimed that anyway, but you knew that wasn't true. he just had too much pride to ask him for help sometimes.
"so you and atsumu are getting along, huh?"
your chest tightened at the mention of his brother. you scolded yourself for that.
"well, yeah. he's not so bad."
you said quickly, your eyes fixated on the switch that osamu let you borrow.
you could feel his eyes on you, it made your palms all disgusting and sweaty.
"seriously? the same atsumu that you've heard me complain about for years?" you stayed silent while osamu continued, "he's an absolute ass. you've seen him at school, right? the way he disregards every girl's feelings?"
"yeah.. well.. he's good company. i said we get along, not that i like him."
you very much did though, that much was obvious to osamu. he rolled his eyes at your response, "whatever. i'll let you be. but don't think i'm an idiot, y/n."
you finally brought your eyes up, osamu's attention on the t.v he just turned on. you felt tense, something was up with him. he was more passive-aggressive than he usually was.
"are you okay?"
"you asked me that earlier."
"osamu, are you okay?"
osamu turned back to look at you, a scornful look on his face. "drop it, y/n. i'm perfectly fine."
you moved closer to him on the bed and tried placing a comforting hand on his back, "if anything is bothering you, you can talk to me."
"i don't want to talk. there's nothing to talk about."
your brows knit together in question. why was he suddenly being so aggressive? you weren't appreciative of it at all.
you could handle this type of thing from other people, but osamu was not one of those people.
"actually, could you just get out? i'm not in the best mood."
"what? are you being serious?"
"very. please get out."
you stared at him in disbelief. your face burned with embarrassment and confusion.
"okay then."
you left his room, closing the door behind you slowly. you thought that maybe he would call out for you or something corny like that, but he didn't. you felt terrible..
you decided to leave since osamu wasn't exactly on talking terms with you. you explained to ms. miya that you had to leave early because your mom needed your help.
that was a lie, but it was the first reasonable one you could think of.
"okay, do you want me to drive you?"
"oh no, don't worry about it. i want some fresh air."
she nodded and you left.
