"i cannot believe you picked that dumb movie. you don't even like it."

you sighed, your friend on the other line annoying you to shreds.

"i just thought you were being too mean to atsumu."

you could basically hear the eye roll that came from osamu, "right, because not enough people are nice to miya atsumu."

the line fell still at that sarcastic remark. you weren't sure how you were supposed to respond. osamu quickly picked up on the building tension, attempting to diffuse it.

"sorry." he grumbled, "i liked it better when you didn't feel sorry for him."

"no, it's fine, but enough about atsumu," you were desperate to change the subject.

you managed to distract the twin, and for 2 hours the two of you talked about nonsense.

-

tutor had been going okay. not the best, but okay. it had been roughly a week and you were starting to find that atsumu might not have been as bad as you initially thought.

you sat in front of atsumu, your math homework placed on the desk. it had actually been an assignment that your teacher returned and told you to re-do.

your face went red as you watched the expressions on atsumu's face distort from simply confused, to 'what the hell?'.

"uh.. y/n.." he pointed toward a math problem, "how did you even get this?"

you wanted to hide your face in your hands, but you restrained from doing so, knowing that would only get the blonde haired boy to make fun of you.

"i don't know.." you mumbled, "i did this a while ago."

he smiled. it seemed like he even wanted to laugh at your work, "what's so funny?" you snapped, which only worked to amuse him even more.

"oh nothing, i'm just really curious as to how you got this."

you threw your hands up, "i don't know 'tsumu, i can hardly even remember when i did this."

he quirked a brow at you, "'tsumu?"

"atsumu," you corrected yourself, "i meant atsumu. anyway, will you just help me? you're my tutor, you're supposed to help me, not laugh at me."

"hey, it's a package deal, i can't just not laugh at this," he gestured toward the paper, making your face burn a little more, "now back to when you called me, 'tsumu."

you groaned, "i meant atsumu."

"but you called me 'tsumu."

you wanted to grab the stupid blonde by his hair and smack him across the face, "yeah? lots of people call you that. after hearing it so much i let it slip."

"it sounds better when it comes from you."

you paused. was he flirting?

"what? why would you say that?"

he smiled at you, "because it does. i like the way it sounds when you say it."

you furrowed your brows and shook your head, pushing that warm feeling back down.

you wouldn't be caught dead being another one of atsumu's fan girls. you were sure more than half the school liked him, and there was no way you were about to he apart of that population.

it actually made you angry. your best friend's brother flirting with you?

"shut up," you told him coyly, earning an even bigger smile. he seemed intrigued by your reaction. "will you just tutor me and stop being stupid, charming miya."

"aw! you think i'm charming?"

you rolled your eyes, "everyone thinks you are, don't let it go to your head. stop getting distracted, atsumu!"

"'tsumu didn't stick, huh?" he mumbled, but you decided to ignore it. "okay, fine, fine, how about you start by erasing that answer?"

he told you, and you obliged with a blush.

"well, you have to move that number down first, subtract, and then multiply whatever you got by 2."

you stared blankly at the sheet, "oh.."

"yeah, i don't know what the heck you were doing."

you slapped his arm, making him laugh, "it's not even that bad! stop making fun of me."

"i mean.. it was pretty bad.."

"alright, aright! i get it!"

atsumu continued to make fun of you for your horrible answer, and you slowly died of embarrassment.

eventually you finished, and atsumu suggested  playing a game in his room, without osamu so he wouldn't complain the whole time, but you had told osamu you would help him with something once your session was over.

"sorry," you scowled and he simply shook his head.

"it's fine, have fun with the lesser brother."

you scoffed at his comment.

"bye, 'tsumu,"

he smiled, "bye y/n."
