Jughead's POV:
That must've been the person that I saw riding by on their motorcycle earlier. It's a girl. She is so beautiful. Then I saw the back of her jacket. It had the Southside Serpents on it. I had always been told that the Serpents were dangerous. But I just can't believe that because we've never actually met the Serpents or tried to talk to them. To understand them. They can't be as bad as everyone says they are. I had just been out walking around Riverdale when I saw her. I wonder what her name was. What her place was in the Serpents. Was she the leader? What's her name? How did she end up with the Serpents? I had so many questions swirling around in my head. But I knew I had to get back to my house. I don't want my dad to think I've gone missing or ended up in the wrong crowd. Worse, I didn't want him to think I'm dead.

"Dad! I'm home!" I shouted when I got in the house.
No answer. Weird. He was home when I had left earlier. I wonder where he went. I checked my phone to see if I had any missed calls or texts from him. But there was nothing. Now I had more questions going through my mind. Did he have some sort of secret life that he never told me about? Where is he? Why am I home alone? It had always been my dad and me because my mom died from cancer when I was five. So I never knew my mom. But my dad had always done his best to be here for me and to provide for me while I was growing up.
"Huh," I said to myself. "Guess he's not here."
I went up to my room and started writing on my laptop. It was my secret hobby. Nobody knew about it but me. All of a sudden I got a news notification. I clicked on it and saw that it was an article. It said that a local teen known as the Serpent Queen robbed a bank. I looked at the picture of the person that they claimed had robbed the bank. This picture had been taken about a year ago. I could tell by the length of her hair, how it was shorter then.
Based on the way she looked at me today I knew that it couldn't have been her that robbed the bank. Somehow I knew that the Serpents wouldn't have robbed the town bank. It was on the Northside and they rarely, if ever came over here.
I decided to call Archie about this.
"What's up Jughead?" He said when he answered.
"Did you see this article about this Serpent Queen?" I asked him.
"No. Why?" He asked me.
Of course, he didn't know. Archie never paid any attention to the news.
"Well, it says that she robbed a bank. But the Serpents rarely come over to this side of town." I explained.
"What are you saying, bro?" He asked.
"I'm saying I saw her earlier today outside town hall. She doesn't look like the type who would rob a bank. She looked really sweet." I told him.
"You're delusional bro. Anyway, I gotta go cuz I'm picking up Ronnie for a date in a few minutes. See you Jug." He said and hung up.
I knew he wouldn't believe me. But somehow I knew that I haven't seen the last of her.
