Jughead's POV:

After Betty left I couldn't stop thinking about her. I know it's only been a few days but I wanted her to move in with me. I wanted to marry her. I love her with every inch of my being. I called her. Voicemail. She must be busy with the Serpents. I hung up without leaving a message. I didn't want to disturb her at the Whyte Wyrm on the phone. But maybe I could surprise her by showing up at the Whyte Wyrm to offer my services to attaining peace between the Northside and the Southside.

So that's exactly what I did. I got into my car and went to the Whyte Wyrm. I saw Toni at the entrance. I asked her where Betty was and she said that Betty was up in her office working on something and had asked to not be disturbed. I asked when Betty would be available to see me. She said that she didn't know but promised to have Betty call me when she was available.

"Toni... Betty didn't say anything to you the other day... Did she?" I asked.

"Go outside Jones." She instructed me.

I did as I was told. She followed me out and closed the door behind us.

"Yeah. She told me you two were dating. But she only did it because she caught me and Cheryl making out in her office. Plus I kind of had a feeling because I saw the way you looked at her at the hospital the other day." She explained.

"Do you know if she told anyone else?" I asked.

"Just me as far as I know. I don't think she told any of the other Serpents." She said.

"Okay. Somehow, I think I can trust you." I told her.

"I also have to tell you something. Betty and I figured out that your dad was a Serpent. In fact, he was a leader. He was a legend around these parts." She told me.

"Really?" I was surprised.

"Yeah. I think he told you we weren't that bad because of experience. I also think that being a Serpent is in your blood. You should consider becoming a recruit. But you gotta talk to the boss first." She said.

"I don't think I'll have a hard time convincing her," I said.

"You never know. She really loves you. She might not want this." Toni told me.

"Thanks, Toni. I appreciate it. Tell Betty I stopped by?" I asked.

"Sure Jones." She said.

"Thanks. See you around." I said, opening the door to my car.

"See you, Jones." She said.

I started the car and drove off. I knew I could become a Serpent. I mean my dad was one of all things. I never knew he was a Serpent legend. I wanted to know what his life was like as the leader. What his gang was like. I just have to convince Betty that I should do this. How hard can that be?
