Five years later...

Anna is 6 years old now. She looks more and more like her parents each day. She has little curls in her hair. Her eyes are the same piercing color that her mothers are.

Jughead's POV:

Betty is so great with Anna. She takes Anna to school every day and is there every afternoon to pick her up. She never once hurt Anna the way that her parents had hurt her. I can't believe that our little girl is in kindergarten now. Betty is pregnant with Anna's little brother or sister now. We haven't had the doctor tell us the gender because we wanted it to be a surprise. Anna is excited to have a little baby sibling. She can't quite help with the baby much yet. But she's really excited which Betty and I are happy about. Betty is so happy. I've been thinking about ways to surprise her since her birthday is coming up. I was thinking about setting up a mystery for her to solve with a pastor and I at the end so she and I can renew our wedding vows. Yeah. That's it. That's what I'll do for her birthday. I'll get some of the Serpents involved, along with Archie, Veronica, and Kevin obviously. I can't wait for her to have the best birthday ever.

I went in the living room while Betty was asleep and made my phone calls. I even got the same person who had married us when Betty and I got married in the first place.

Archie: "A mystery for Betty ending with you two renewing your wedding vows? Count me in man."

Veronica: "Of course. Anything for Betty."

Kevin: "This is going to be amazing. No way am I missing this."

Cheryl: "Of course, I'll help Jughead. You two were great leaders of the Serpents."

Toni: "Of course, I'll help."

Fangs: "Count me in."

Sweet Pea: "Sure thing."

Everyone was in. My plan is in motion. Now to just set up the mystery. I had Archie and Veronica set up to take care of Anna since I was going to be at the altar at the end of the mystery.

Betty's Birthday

Betty's POV:

I woke up on my birthday to breakfast in bed from Jughead and Anna.

"You two are so sweet." I told them.

"The day is only just beginning. So, I'm going to take Anna over to Archie and Veronica's. I have some stuff I need to do. Once your done eating, get into a nice dress." Jughead told me.

"What are you up to honey?" I asked. Even though I think I knew the answer was no.

"You're not going to get me that easily. Take your time. Oh. In the meantime, I have something for you." He told me and handed me an envelope.

"Anna and I are heading out. I'll see you later Betty. I love you." He said to me.

"I love you too hun." I said and we kissed.

"I love you too mommy." Anna told me.

"I love you too Anna." I said and hugged her goodbye.

Jughead took Anna in his arms and left the room. I ate my breakfast slowly and then got changed into a nice dress as Jughead had asked. I didn't know what was going on but I knew Jughead was up to something.

Once I was changed I opened the envelope and read it.

He clearly meant the Whyte Wyrm so I decided to head over there. When I got there I saw Cheryl and Toni singing karaoke on the stage. When they were done I applauded with everyone else.

"Hey, Betty." Cheryl called out to me when she saw me.

"Hey, Cheryl." I said as she pulled me in for a hug.

"Has Jughead been by here?" I asked Cheryl.

"No. But I have something for you." She told me.

It was another envelope. When I opened it the note was in the same handwriting so I knew it was from Jughead.

City Hall. Jughead what are you up to? I wondered.

I went there next. The mayor handed me another envelope. I read it and it told me to go to Archie and Veronica's house from what I could tell from the clue.

When I got there they opened the door with Anna in Veronica's arms.

"Hey, B." Veronica said to me.

"Hey, V. What's going on? Jughead hasn't been by here has he?" I asked.

"No. But Archie has something for you." Veronica told me.

"Let me guess it's another envelope with another clue leading me all around town today?" I asked.

"Ugh. How did you guess?" Archie asked jokingly.

"Lucky guess." I said sarcastically.

The clue lead me to Innuendo. Kevin works there so I knew that a clue wasn't far behind.

As soon as I got there Kevin welcomed me in.

"Betty welcome to Innuendo." He said.

"What's up Kev? You got another clue for me?" I asked.

"This is your final clue. Congratulations on making it this far. Your clue is not on a card so I'll say it to you. You've been married seven years, this much is true. Now Jughead thought something was due. He wanted to surprise you. So he wants you to get to your final destination. It is the place you and Jughead were wed. Can you guess the location?" He asked me.

"Hmmm. Married seven years. Something is due. Surprise me. Final destination. Place Jughead and I were wed. *gasp* That's it! Thanks, Kev. I'll see you later." I said and ran out the door.

Third Person POV:

Little did Betty know that she was going to see Kevin sooner than she thought.
