Two years later.

Betty's POV:

Jughead and I have been married for two years. I'm two months pregnant with our first child. We don't know the gender yet, but we want it to be a surprise. He and I have retired from the Serpents so we can raise our child. I can't wait to be a mom.

I never knew either of my parents. They had given me up. Luckily an orphanage had taken me in and raised me until I was 18. After I became a legal adult they had to let me go and live my life. I made some bad choices for a while. That is until I met the Serpents. They took me in and made me one of their own. They took care of me.

That's how I met Jughead's dad. He was the leader at the time and always did right by the Serpents until he left for the Northside. Now, I've been making good decisions and I've been working at Pop's in order to make some money for my hospital bills for during my pregnancy.

Jughead is working at the Bijou to help support our family. We're looking to move to the Northside. Oh. I forgot to mention. Toni and Cheryl are the co-queens of the Serpents now. From what I've heard they're doing a great job.

"Jug. Do you remember what tomorrow is?" I asked him.

"How could I forget? It's our second wedding anniversary." He said.

"Yeah. Any special plans for it?" I asked. I was hoping that there would be some kind of surprise and that he would spill it.

"You'll just have to wait and see honey." He said and kissed me.

"Fine. I'll wait. I'm just excited." I told him.

"And understandably so Betts." He said.

"Do you think we should go to the doctor and have them find out what the gender is of our baby? We wouldn't have him tell us what it is, but we could have him put the results in an envelope and send it to a bakery for a gender reveal party." I said excitedly.

"You would want to do that?" He asked me.

"Yeah. That way it wouldn't only be a surprise for everyone there, but it would be a surprise for us too." I said. "Wouldn't that be amazing?" I asked him.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea," Jughead said.

"So that's settled. I can't wait." I said.

"Me neither." He responded.

This was going to be incredible.
