Jughead pulled up to Thornhill Mansion.

Jughead's POV

"OK, Anna. You know our rules about parties right?" I asked her.

"Of course dad. If someone offers me alcohol or drugs I say no. Never let my cup out of my sight because someone might spike it with alcohol or some sort of drug." She responded.

"And..." I pushed.

"And no kissing boys unless it's Truth or Dare, or Spin the Bottle. Don't do it if it's Seven Minutes in Heaven." She said.

"Good girl. Now head in and have fun. Either your mother or I will be here at 11:00 to pick you up." I told her.

"Okay, dad." She said to me smiling.

"But before you go, I want you to know that you look just like your mother did at our homecoming when we were your age." I told her.

"Really dad?" She asked me, her smile growing larger.

"Really. Now go have fun. I love you." I said to her.

"I love you too." She said as she got out of the car.

As soon as she was inside I pulled away and went home.

Anna's POV

As I walked through the doors of Thornhill I saw how lavishly Chloe and her moms lived. I admired how Chloe didn't let money affect her attitude toward others. She didn't act like she was better than anyone else. She said that her mom (Cheryl) used to act like that when she was in high school with my parents, but that she grew out of it eventually because she was humbled by her wife (Toni).

I was wandering through the halls of Thornhill, trying to avoid bumping into other people when I saw Chloe Blossom-Topaz standing and talking to some other Serpents that I recognized from the Wyrm. She looked stunning in her red dress (her mom's signature color, which turned into Chloe's signature color).

I was nervous to go up and talk to her since we had kissed only two weeks ago. I had avoided talking to her while I was grounded. I know it wasn't her fault I was grounded, that it was mine. But I felt awkward. The kiss felt right, but I still hadn't known whether I was attracted to girls exclusively or if I was attracted to both girls and boys. So I went to the other side of the room and saw Veronica and Archie's son Fred Jr. He was a good friend of mine from school. So I went over to him and talked to him instead.

"Hey, Fred." I called to him as I crossed the room to him, making sure that I was visible.

"Hey, Anna. What's up? I thought you'd be hanging with Chloe since this is her party." He said to me. Fred looks like his dad, with his broad shoulders and abs, but had his mother's raven hair.

"I want to hang with you right now. Is that a crime?" I joked.

Fred laughed. "I guess not."

"So what are you doing here? I didn't peg you for a party type, not like my parents say that your mom was anyway." I asked.

"Well, the truth is Chloe told me that a certain cute blonde girl was going to be here." He said to me.

I wondered what Chloe had told him. But at the same time, I felt awkward because I never reciprocated his feelings even though he was obviously into me.

"I'm sorry Fred. I just don't see you that way." I apologized and crossed the room to talk to Chloe.

This would be the first time I had talked to her since that kiss. I knew that Fred was hurt, and I felt guilty for hurting his feelings, but I needed to talk to Chloe.

Chloe had just finished up her conversation with the Serpents and turned to me.

"Hey Chloe." I said shyly and started fingering my hair.

"Hey Anna. Wow. You look beautiful." She said to me, smiling nervously.

"You don't look too bad yourself Chloe." I said and chuckled nervously.

"So, what's been up with you? You didn't talk to me for a while. I was starting to think that our kiss hadn't been satisfactory, or that you didn't really like me like you said you did." She rambled.

"I'm sorry Chloe. I just didn't know how to act around you while I was grounded, and I didn't know if I was attracted to girls only, or both boys and girls. I guess I just felt awkward." I explained to her.

"I'm sorry you felt that way, Anna. But I did mean it when I said I liked you and when we kissed it just felt right." She said to me.

"I meant it when I said I liked you too. I also think that the kiss felt right. It actually felt magical. If that doesn't sound weird." I tried to backpedal.

"That doesn't sound weird at all." Chloe chuckled. "So how do you want to figure out whether or not you're exclusively attracted to girls?" She asked me.

"How about a game of spin the bottle or a game of truth or dare?" I suggested.

"Spin the Bottle?" Chloe smirked.

I smirked back.

A few minutes later...

"Okay, everyone. Listen up, party people. It's time for a game. A game of spin the bottle." Chloe announced.

Soon everyone was gathered on the floor. All except Chloe who was going to go over the rules before she sat down.

"Okay, you all know the rules of spin the bottle. But for anyone who doesn't know, here's how the game works. Everyone sits in a circle with a bottle in the center of it. To start I am going to ask for a volunteer to spin the bottle. Whoever the bottle lands on, the person that spun and the person have to kiss. And not just some little cheek peck, but they have to lock lips for at least a second for it to count." Chloe explained and sat down in an open spot.

"Now, any volunteers to spin the bottle first?" Chloe asked.

I awkwardly raised my hand to volunteer.

"Oh ho ho. Anna Jones. Go ahead and spin the bottle. Remember the rules." Chloe teased.

I spun the bottle. Everyone held their breath waiting to see who it would land on.

Then the bottle started slowing down. It stopped.

It landed on... Fred Jr. Oh no! I thought.

"Fred Andrews Jr." Chloe announced.

I scootched toward him awkwardly. I had told him that I didn't like him the way he liked me. Man, this was going to be so awkward.

Fred came toward me too. He was just as awkward as I as at the moment.

Then we just pushed our lips together to get it over with.

I didn't feel any attraction toward Fred Jr. Did that mean I'm a lesbian, or does that mean that I just don't see Fred that way? I was so confused. I think I have to play a few more rounds of the game to be sure.

Fifteen minutes passed. I had to kiss a few other guys, and I came to the realization that I am a lesbian. I don't like guys. I was happy when I realized that.

When the game ended it was 10:55. I only had 5 minutes until my parents would come and get me. Most of the guests had gone home by then so I pulled Chloe toward the door. She didn't hesitate about going with me.

"So what's this all about Anna?" Chloe chuckled.

"Tonight I realized that I'm lesbian." I said and smiled the biggest smile I could manage without looking creepy or weird.

"Really?" Chloe asked me hopefully.

"Yep. That game of spin the bottle confirmed it. And I really like you. So, would you like to be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously.

"Yes. I'd love to Anna." She responded.

I was so happy that I put my hands on her face and pulled her in for a kiss before my parents showed up.

It felt so right kissing her. I knew that I liked her. She liked me. Could this be love?
