Three years later

Jughead's POV:

All of the Serpents really respect me now. We achieved peace between the North and Southside. Betty and I have now been openly dating for three years. Cheryl and Toni are married now. Now, there is only one thing for me to do for Betty. And that is to surprise her with a proposal. She's the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with.

"Toni!" I shouted and beckoned Toni to come over.

"What's up Jughead?" She asked.

"Betty isn't here so let's head up to the office. I have something important I want to discuss with you." I said.

Her face showed me that she was confused but she followed anyway.

When we got into the office, Toni closed the door behind us.

"What's going on Jughead?" Toni asked and crossed her arms across her chest.

"I want to propose to Betty. But I'm not sure how to do it." I explained.

"That's awesome Jughead! I think I know just the way you can do it." She told me.

"What's your plan Topaz?" I asked. I was genuinely interested to hear her plan because I might just do it the way she suggests.

"Okay. Here's what you do..." Toni explained her plan.

Betty's POV:

I'm working at Pop's to earn some extra cash since Jughead and I had moved to the Southside of town. I am grateful to Pop Tate because he took a chance on me. Once my shift was over and I had changed out of my uniform I saw Jughead standing in the main part of the building wearing a suit.

"Jughead. What's the occasion?" I asked him.

"No occasion. Just felt like dressing up. Is that so wrong?" He asked me.

"I suppose not." I laughed.

"Come on. The Serpents need us at the Wyrm." He said.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"You'll see." He said with a hint of mystery in his tone. I had to admit that it was sexy.

"Okay," I said and took his hand which he had extended to me.

We drove in Jughead's car to the Wyrm. When we got there all of the Serpents were dressed up. The boys in tuxes and the girls in dresses.

"Jughead, what's going on?" I asked.

He didn't say a word. He just brought me up to the stage. He then grabbed a microphone and got down on one knee.

"Betty. You are such an incredible and fierce woman. I've loved you since the day we met. Now, here we are. Three years later, still together and happy. There's just one question I need to ask you. Betty, will you do me a huge honor, and marry me?" He asked.

His words had me speechless and the ring was absolutely gorgeous.

I couldn't speak. My eyes were filled with tears of joy and I could feel them streaming down my face. So I just nodded and held out my hand so he could put the ring on my finger.

"She said yes!" Jughead exclaimed.

All the Serpents cheered as we came off of the stage.

"Juggie. That was so romantic. How did you come up with this proposal?" I asked him.

"I had a little help from your right-hand woman." He said.

"Toni?" I laughed. "I should've known. This is the best day of my life Jug."

"I'm glad you think so," He said. "Because soon, we are going to be husband and wife."

"Yeah. I love you Jughead." I said.

"I love you too Betts." He said.

Then I crashed my lips onto his. My fiance. I like the sound of that. I can't believe that I'm going to marry him. This is the best day of my life right now. Nothing can change how happy I am right now.
