Betty POV

I decided not to tell Jughead that I was pregnant again just yet. At least, not today. I wanted to figure out a cute way to tell him first. When I got home I smelled bacon and pancakes.

"Hey, Betty. Find everything you needed at the pharmacy?" Jughead asked me.

"Yep. Everything smells great. Is there anything left for me to eat? I'm famished." I told him.

"Yeah. I just finished actually." He told me.

"Perfect. I need to talk to Anna for a little bit before we eat. We won't take long. I'll tell James to come down to eat." I said to him.

Jughead raised his eyebrow skeptically but laughed to himself.

As soon as I told James to head downstairs I went to Anna's room to talk to her. But when I went to her room, she was gone. Her room was a mess as if she had just left. But in fairness, she hadn't cleaned her room in a while. But I started to panic. I ran downstairs to tell Jughead what had happened.

"JUGHEAD!" I yelled as I ran downstairs.

"Betty, what is it? What's wrong?" He said holding onto my arms.

"Anna's gone!" I exclaimed.

"WHAT?!" He yelled.

"I went to her room to talk to her and when I opened her door her room was deserted." I sobbed into Jughead's chest.

"James! Can you come here please?" Jughead yelled.

"What's going, dad? James asked.

"Do you know where your sister went?" I asked through sobs.

"What do you mean mom? Dad, what's going on?" James asked, panicked. The color in his face flushed.

"Your sister's missing. She wasn't in her room this morning." Jughead explained so that I could keep crying.

"Do... Do you have any idea where she might have gone?" I asked James.

"I don't know." He responded. He looked down at his chest. He was trying to hide his tears but I could see them rolling down his face.

"James, honey, we're all worried about your sister," I said and pulled him into a hug with his father and me.

We all sat down and let James and Jughead cry.

When we all calmed down, I said that I would call the Serpents to see if she was at the Whyte Wyrm. Jughead said that he would call the school to see if she was there.

"What should I do?" James asked.

"Just stay calm and quiet for now. If she's not at the school or the Whyte Wyrm then we're gonna go look for her." Jughead told him.

"I'm gonna call Sweets to see if he's seen, Anna. I hope he still works at the bar on the same days he used to." I said as I left the room to call Sweet Pea.

"I'll call the school. She may not be there but it's worth a try." Jughead said as he dialed the school.

Jughead POV

As I was calling the school I saw James twiddling his thumbs. I could tell he's worried about Anna. We all are.

"Hello. Riverdale Middle School. How can I help you?" The receptionist asked me.

"Hi. This is Mr. Jones. I'm Anna Jones' father. Anna is missing from our home and we were wondering if she showed up there for any reason." I explained.

"Well, I'm sorry dear. She's not here. The school is closed on weekends don't you know?" She told me.

"Yes. Well, thank you for your time. Bye." I said and hung up.

Betty came back into the room at the same time.

"She's not at school," I said to her.

"That's okay. I know where she is." Betty told me.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"She's at the Wyrm," Betty said. "She got a call from one of the Serpents telling her to meet there this morning for some reason."

"I'm glad she's safe, but when we get her home she's grounded for two weeks," I said.

"Okay Jug. Let's just get Anna home safe first." Betty told me.

"Do you wanna take the bikes or the car?" I asked her.

"Let's take the car. It'll be easier to reprimand her for leaving without permission when we can hear ourselves talk." Betty said.

"So you're suggesting reprimanding her in the car versus at home?" I asked her.

"You're right. Let's reprimand her here. And while she's grounded she can't be initiated into the Serpents." She told me.

"Sounds good to me," I said.

"Okay. James, do you want to come with us or do you want to stay here? We won't take long." I asked him.

"I'll stay here," James said.

"Okay. We won't take long. We'll just get your sister and come back." Betty told him.

So we went out to the car and went to the Wyrm.

Anna POV

I had gotten a call from Toni and Cheryl's daughter Chloe to meet her at the Wyrm. I didn't know what was going to happen but I accepted. I hadn't told my parents because I didn't know what was going to happen when I met her there.

Flashback

"Hey, Sweetpea. Is Chloe here? She called me and told me to meet her here this morning." I said to Sweet Pea as I entered the Wyrm.

"Yeah. She's over on the couch there. Do your parents know you're here?" He asked me.

"No. I don't know what's going to happen so I didn't want to tell them I was coming here this morning." I explained to him.

"You know if one of your parents calls and asks me where you are, I have to be honest with them and tell them you're here." Sweet Pea explained.

"Yeah. I get it, Sweets." I said and went over to the couch.

"Hey, Jones." Chloe greeted me.

"Hey, Blossom-Topaz," I greeted back. "So what's going on? Why'd you call me?" I asked her.

"I've been wanting to tell you something for a long time." She said.

"What's going on Chloe?" I asked as I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Well, you know how my moms are lesbian?" She asked me.

"Yeah?" I said quizzically.

"Well, I think I might be like them because..." She hesitated.

"Because why?" I asked.

"Because I really like you." She told me.

"Oh. Well... Uhhh..." I was completely caught off guard cuz I liked her too.

"You don't have to say anything right now." She said looking down at her chest.

I saw a tear escape her eye and start to roll down her cheek. I wiped away and spoke.

"Chloe. Relax. I was just caught off guard. Because... I like you too." I explained to her.

"Really?" She asked.

"Really. I don't know if I'm lesbian or bi, but, I know that I really like you and want to be more than friends with you. Only if you want to." I explained to her.

"I'd like that." She said.

"Me too." I said.

We looked into each other's eyes for what felt like an eternity. Then Chloe put her hand on my cheek while I put mine on hers. We leaned in close and kissed. Luckily neither of our parents were there because I didn't want this moment to end.

But then my parents burst in.
