Jughead's POV:

I really wanted to get to know Betty. She is so fierce. She really seems to care about the Serpents.

I got into my car and headed home.

On my way home I heard a motorcycle behind me. I looked into my rearview and saw that it was Betty. I decided to pull over so she could pass. But she just pulled over behind me. What is going on?

I got out of the car and decided to talk to her.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here? The Serpent Queen. What can I do for you?" I asked her.

"Well, Jughead since I saw you at city hall earlier I haven't been able to get you out of my head." She explained.

"Well, what is the mighty Serpent Queen Betty thinking?" I asked her teasingly.

"I'm thinking that maybe I'm in love with you." She told me.

"Well, maybe I think the same thing about you," I told her with a smirk on my lips.

"Really?" She asked. She looked surprised.

"Really. So what are we going to do about that?" I asked.

"Well, you could kiss me," she said.

"Well, okay. On one condition." I told her.

"What's that?" She asked me.

"No one knows about this. This stays between us." I explained.

"Well, I love a good mystery. You got yourself a deal, Jones." She said.

I didn't say anything more. I crashed my lips onto hers. She kissed me back. She tastes a bit like smoke and alcohol but I like it. She gently pulled away.

"That was incredible. But, but what would people say about this? A Northsider like you kissing a Southsider like me? There would be pandemonium." She said.

"That's why we agreed that no one knows about this. We can sneak around. Have secret rendezvous. A secret relationship." I explained to her.

She giggled. "Well, doesn't that sound romantic. Alright, Jones. A secret relationship it is. But are you still going to help the Serpents get peace with the Northside?" She asked me.

"I'm a man of my word. So, yes Betty. Yes, I will help you guys." I said smiling.

"Thanks, Jughead. I appreciate this." She said. She kissed my cheek before grabbing her helmet and putting it on.

"I hope to see you soon Jughead." She said.

"I'm sure you will," I told her.

She revved up her motorcycle and drove off. Then I started thinking to myself about what had just happened. Did I really just do this? Did I really just kiss her? But I liked it. My conscience told me, but your from the Northside and she's from the Southside. Me: So? My conscience: So it's going to be dangerous. What if people find out? Me: I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. My conscience: You're funeral Jones.

I ignored my conscience and drove home. I'm happy. That's all that matters to me right now.
