Betty POV

A couple of weeks later I started feeling really nauseous in the mornings. I thought maybe I was just sick. But this was just in the mornings. And if I had to bet, I'd bet that I was pregnant for the third time. One morning I decided to go to the pharmacy to get a pregnancy test. I looked over and saw that Jughead was still asleep. I wrote a note and left it on his nightstand so I could go to the pharmacy. But first I went to see if the kids were up, but both of them were sound asleep. So I slipped out the door and went to the pharmacy. I didn't want to take the test at home. I didn't know how he would react to having a third child. So after I purchased it I called Toni to see if I could take the pregnancy test. She said yes once I explained my worries about Jughead.

Ten minutes later I'm sitting on the floor of Toni and Cheryl's apartment bathroom waiting for the results of the pregnancy test.

A minute later my time goes off and I check the strip.

Positive.

Oh my god. How am I going to tell Jughead that I'm pregnant again?

Then I walk out of their bathroom.

"What does it say, Betty?" Toni asked me.

"I'm pregnant." I say worriedly.

"That's amazing Betty. Why did you say it like that though?" Cheryl asked.

"Because of what she told me over the phone. She doesn't know how Jughead will react to a third pregnancy." Toni explained for me.

Toni had summed it all up so I could only sadly nod.

"Oh, Betty." Cheryl said and pulled me in for a hug.

Toni joined in on the hug too.

"We're here for you. Whatever you need." Cheryl said.

"Thanks, guys. I just don't know how to tell Jughead I'm pregnant." I said.

"My advice? Just rip the band-aid off. It'll be quick and easy and then you'll know for sure where Jughead stands on a third pregnancy." Toni said.

"No Toni. She should ease into it. Guys usually can't take that kind of shock. She needs to calmly explain to him what happened and ease into it to make the news easier to take in." Cheryl argued.

I didn't want them getting into a fight over this so I just said, "I'll keep both pieces of advice in mind. Thank you guys for everything. But now, I should be getting home to my family."

"Okay. Text us if you need us." Toni said.

"I will." I responded.

"And tell everyone that we said hi and hope that everyone is doing well." Cheryl added.

"Okay. I will. Thank you guys for everything." I said as I went out the door and went home.
