1 year later.

Betty's POV:

Today is Anna's first birthday. She's walking on her own now. Jughead is doing so well with her. He loves to play with our little tot. He helps feed her, change her, and everything. He is such a great dad. We had moved to a small house on the Northside of town. All though we did bring Anna to the Southside with us when we would visit the Serpents. They all adored Anna. They were so gentle with her and loved playing with her. Jughead always said that she has my eyes since the pigment has settled in her eyes now. She has Jughead's jet black hair too. She is our perfect little angel.

Jughead and I are both working at the Riverdale Register now. We actually own the company. Anna always comes with us to work. We keep a highchair there for when it's time for her to eat.

"Jug. She's making her 'I want daddy' face." I told him.

"Alright. Come here princess. Come to daddy." He said. "Ooh. Smells like someone needs a change." He laughed.

"Want me to take her and do it?" I asked.

"Nah. I got it. Come on Anna. Time to get you changed." He said. While he was changing her he made her laugh. Everyday with her makes me notice how good of parents we are.

The entire house was decorated with pink streamers and balloons. She was going to have her first birthday party.

Jughead had introduced me to some of his friends and all of us became friends. So we invited them to the party along with a few of the Serpents.

Our friends Kevin, Archie, and Veronica are coming. Then, Toni, Cheryl, Fangs, and Sweet Pea.

I noticed that after Jughead was done changing Anna he seemed lost, or sad maybe. He didn't have that glimmer in his eyes like he usually did.

"Jug, honey, are you okay?" I asked him when he came over with Anna.

"I guess... I'm just sad that Anna will never get to meet her grandpa FP. He would've loved this little angel. He would have loved you too Betts. But nothing would compare to this little angel for him. I know he loved me. I just miss him sometimes." He explained.

"Hey. It's okay to miss your dad. And, I'm sorry that we never found out who killed him. But I know that he is watching over you everyday. I know that he is watching over not only you, but our little family and the Serpents. Just know that you don't have to go through this alone. You have me, Anna, Veronica, Archie, Kevin, and the Serpents. We're all here for you if you need us. Because we all love you. I love you." I said to him.

"Thanks Betts. I love you too." He said and kissed me. Anna was sitting in his lap, not understanding what was going on, but she hugged her daddy as tight as she could.

"Aww. I love you too princess." Jughead said.

I smiled gently. I love our little family.

Then there was a knock at our door.

"I'll get it. You just stay here with Anna." I said.

I opened the door to see Archie and Veronica.

"Hi Betty." Veronica said.

"Hey Veronica!" I said and pulled her in for a hug.

"Hey Betty." Archie said.

"Hey Archie." I said and hugged him too.

"Thank you both so much for coming. It means a lot to Jughead, Anna, and I." I said.

"Well of course we came. Now are you going to let us in or not?" Veronica laughed.
