Chapter 5.

To say kopa was shocked was an understatement, he never saw Kiara get that serious, although he hasn't seen her for around 10-13 years, so he should think so. But, what kiara said was stuck in his head, 'what he had feared for along time. You don't know, what he has been through, since you left. Hell, I tell you. He have probally been to hell, in his nightmared.' it kept on replaying over and over again in his head.

Kopa looked over to his left, seeing Kiara nuzzerling Kion, who didn't react at all, just sat still while looking at his reflection in a tiny puddle.

"Kopa?" Kopa looked up, finding Kovu and Vitani infront of him with worried looks plastered on there faces, he looked at Kovu who had said his name, "I-is Kion okay? He looked almost scared..."

"I think... Kiara. She, well I don't know, she said he has been through hell and that I should ease up on Kion, like i've done something wrong!" Kopa said, as Kovu and Vitani shared the same nervous glance, Kopa sighing, "Go on. Say it."

"Well, I mean, you have been pretty rough on him..." Kovu said.

"And, he did look pretty shaken up and kept on flinching, or wincing in pain when you touched him or was close to him, or asked him about something, like family? nd about Zira." Vitani finished, as Kopa sighed and turned to look at them again, to find Kovu looking in the direction of Kiara and Kion.

"Kovu." Kopa said blankly, Kovu turning to Kopa, "What did I say? My brother is off limits."

"Awe... can't I like just kiss him?" Kovu begged, Kopa glaring at him, as Kovu backed up and put his ears down, "Alright, just friends it is!"

"Now, I'm, gonna go and apoligise, he deservs one..." Kopa muttered, as he walked over and stood infront of Kiara and Kion, as Kiara glared at him, and Kion didn't look up from the puddle, seeing Kopa's reflection next to him in it, he sighed.

"Look lil bro... I'm sorry I was so rough on you. I don't know what you've been through back home, but I can tell you've been through some things in life since I was gone, and I--I'm sorry..." Kopa apoligised, as Kion's ears perked up and he looked up at his older brother and put on a fake smile.

"It's alright... and I'm sorry too... for being a brat that is. i know, I''ve been through stuff, but I don't need to take my anger out on you guys, or Vitani." Kion explained, as he also looked up, Kopa sweared he saw a tint of red on his brother's cheeks, when he added on, "And Kovu."

"It's alright bro... we know you have anger issues." Kiara said, as Kopa nodded.

"Yeah... anyway, I think we should start getting home! It's getting late." Kion said, as Kiara nodded and they all started walking in the direction of the boarder, and stood beside Kovu and Vitani, Kopa standing beside Vitani, and Kiara next to Kopa and Kion, then Kion beside Kovu, and Kovu standing by Vitani.

"So, we are going to get going now. See ya guys tommorow maybe!" Kiara said, as Kion laughed at something Kovu said, as Kovu smirked and blushed a bit as Kopa glared at him, as Kiara looked up at him and then saw him glareing at Kovu who was blushing at Kion, and Kion also blushing, as Kovu had a smirk on his face.

"Hey bro... you gotta stop being so... over-protective of Kion!" Kiara said, as Kopa answered without looking away from Kovu, who stepped forward, closer to Kion.

"What? Kiara, he's 14! He's not older enough to date, plus Kovu's 16!" Kopa said, not taking his eyes away form his younger brother and best friend, as Vitani rolled her eyes.

"Yeah... but Kopa, you've known Kovu for around 10 years! Sure, yoou trust him and knoows you will kill him if you hurt Kion, but look. Kion's happy, so is Kovu, so just leave it for now then we can try and talk to Kion about it, after like a month or something." Kiara explained, s Kopa sighed and looekd at her, nodding.

"Good!" Kiara said, then turned to Kion and shouted, "Kion, you ready?"

"Yeah!" Kion shouted back, as him and Kovu walked over, Kovu smirking at Kopa and purposely stood really close to Kion.

"Good, now. See ya Kovu, see ya Virtani! Bye bro." Kiara said, turning to each one when she said there names and started walking closer to the boarder, as Kion turned to Kopa, and smiled and then hugged him.

"See ya lil bro! remember if you need help, just--!" Kopa got cut off by a laugh.

"Just call for help! I know Kopa. You told me about a zoxen times. See ya bro, don't wanna keep the princess waiting!" Kion laughed, so did Kopa as Kovu smirked and stepped even more closer to Kion, god knows how there body's not touching, as Kopa glared at Kovu.

"See ya Kovu, bye Vitani! Keep Kopa out of trouble." Kion said, with a smirk towards his older brother, who was still glaring at Kovu, Kovu and Vitani shouting bye, as Kion then ran towards the way Kiara went, and caught up with her, as she had gotten over the boarder.
