Kion yawned. He had just woken up to it being the next day, he looked around him, pretty much everybody was awake already. That fight yesturday had really tired him out.

Kion stood up, stretching before he walked out from under the ledge, and grabbed a drink.

"Hey, Kion!" Jasiri jumped onto his back, and Kion gave a small smile.

"Hey Jasiri." Kion said, moving to the side so jasiri jumped to stand beside him, "Where's everybody else?"

"You're Brother, and Kovu are over there somewhere, and Vitani, Queen Nala, and your Sister is over there." Jasiri said, motioning with her head.

"Thanks." Kion said.

"Jasiri! Jasiri!" Two Hyenas came running over, both female.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Jasiri asked quickly, and by this time Kovu, Kopa, Kiara, Vitani, and Nala had all walked over to stand behind Kion.

The two Hyenas was breathing heavily.

"Hey, what is going on?" Kion asked sternly, but when neither of them answered he growled, snapping them out of there trance, "What happened?"

"A big lion is comeing right this way!" One of them shouted, and Kion's ears perked up at that, before he took of running up the slope, stopping he looked over it, eyes wideneing before running back.

"It's Dad!" Kion said, panicing slightly.

"Hey, Kion. It's okay." Nala spoke soothingly, "Take a deep breath."

Kion sighed, and looked at Kopa, Kovu and Vitani.

"You guys need to hide." Kion said, and then looked at Nala and Kiara, "You two, Mom. Kiara."

"Kion--"

"Please, Mom." Kion said, begging and pleading. Nala sighed, and hid behind a boulder, the others following before they heard claws scarping against the floor.

"Kion." Jasiri spoke up, moving to his side.

"Stay back, Jasiri. It would be better for youself if you and you're clan hid." Kion whispered.

"We are not hiding in our home." Jasiri said sternly, looking behind her, seeing somebody keeping the Cubs quite and safe in the den.

Kion only sighed, and flinched when seeing the elder lion jump down the slope, murder in his eyes when he saw Kion.

"Kion." Simba growled, marching towards him, Kion took a huge step back.

"D-Dad." Kion stuttered, before taking a deep breath and bowing down, "You're Majesty."

"What did I tell you?" Simba growled, glancing at Jasiri and the Hyenas who was around the area and growling at him, "You need to Man up."

Kion looked upto his Father, his ears down when he stepped forward.

"Sorry Dad, I just started wondering. I should've known better." Kion muttered.

"What, boy? Speak up." Simba growled.

"I should of knew better." Kion said louder, and Simba put a arm around his neck, to shove him forward towards the slope.

"You. Stay away from my Son." Simba growled, walking towards Jasiri.

"He is not an object and most certainly does not repersent you." Jasiri said, rolling her eyes.

"All Hyenas are the same." Simba muttered.

"Simba." Nala had came from behind the boulder and was now standing beside Kion, Kion looked upto her then made sure th others were still hiding, Vitani and Kovu was holding Kopa and Kiara back.

"Nala." Simba muttered, "What are you doing here?"

"I was bringing Kion for a walk. To show him not everybody is the same here." Nala said, standing tall when Simba walked towards her.

"He is our son. We should be makeing that deicision together." Simba growled, and walked past Nala, "He needs to grow up!"

"Grow up?" Nala scoffed, "You haven't givin him any time to be a child! As soon as he was born, a month later he was fighting. He should be a Cub!"

"He needs his training. If he is to guard the Pridelands." Simba growled.

"And, why does he need all of that preasure?" Nala asked.

"Kion. Let's go. You've got work to do." Simba snarled, already walking towards the Pridelands. Kion's ears dropped and he looked at Nala, who was glaring at Simba, then to his friends and family, who was doing the same.

Simba stopped in his tracks and turned to Kion again.

"Kion." Simba said in a warning tone, causing Kion to take a step back, "I said. Let's. Go."

Kion was to scared to move, he was taking a few more steps back when Simba started walking towards him. Nala jumped between the two, when Kion's back hit the wall.

"You can do all you want to me." Nala growled, "But, you do not lay a single claw on my Son."

Simba glared at Nala.

"Let him make the right decision. Kion." Simba said, the two turned to look at Kion, who was looking between the two of them. He couldn't choose, so he did the only thing what he knew he could do.

He ran. Kion took of running down the alleyway.

"Kion!" He heard somebody roar, and didn't need to see who it belonged to, to know that voice scared him.

Kion was breathing heavily and wiped angerly at his eyes with his paw, whwile he lay down in the first part of the Outlands where he first saw Kopa again.

"Thought I would find you here." Kovu then came into view, as he sat beside him, Kion turned away from him, before standing up and sitting back down, so his back was to Kovu.

"What are you doing here?" Kion muttered.

"Came to check on you? Kion, you shouldn't listen to Simba." Kovu said, standing up to move to sit beside Kion, "Hes stupid. You haven't had a proper childhood, and he. . . he mistreats you. You don't deserve that."

"Oh, yeah?" Kion muttered, standing up, "You're wrong. I'm just a screw up."

"Kion, no you aren't! Not to our friends, not to your Siblings, or Mom, not to me." Kovu raised his voice slightly, jumping so he was infront of Kion, Kion only looked upto him, "Not to me."

They just stared at each other for a few minutes, before Kion leaned forward, slowly kicking him on the cheek before he suddenly jumped backwards.

"I'm-I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to!" Kion stuttered, before taking of running, ignoring Kovu's shouts for him to come back.
