After a few minutes, maybe 10? Kion had got the place ready for there excape.

"Ready?" He whispered, he looked up at the guard, who had checked on the pair a few minutes ago. Kiara took place beside the other boulder, "Go!"

Kion and Kiara both pushed a boulder into the holes, before Kion grabbed his sister and they both ran out from the cell and started running. Just like, Kion had said. They ran and didn't look back.

Kion made sure that he was running a bit behind Kiara just to make sure he didn't loose her.

He heard a giant lion roar from behind him, causing his ears to twitch. There was no way two lion cubs could out run a whole lioness pride?! Zira's none the less.

Kion looked around with a gulp. They was gonna need to hurry, unless. . .

Kion saw a cave abit ahead. His ears twitched, he could hear another roar and fast paw steps running in their direction. He looked down at his running paws. They were tracking them by their prints! And, scent.

He gulped, before seeing some mud.

Kion grabbed Kiara and quickly pulled her to the side, causing her to yelp.

"Shush." Kion shushed her, before stepping into the pile of mud and rubbing it all over his fur, "Put this all over your fur. No way we can out run them lions, and they are tracking us by scent! We don't leave much prints."

Kiara nodded, and rolled around in the mud, before standing up.

"There close. We can't get home without them finding us first." Kion mumbled, his eyes widened, quickly grabbing his sister and pulling her behind a rock wall, just in time for two lionesses to stop just on the other side.

"Lost em." One lioness mumbled, causing Kion and Kiara to hold there breath and move closer to each other and the wall.

"Don't tell me you two idiots have lost them again?!" They recorgnised that voice. . . Kovu.

"There scent just. . . disppeared." Another lioness mumbled. Kion pulled Kiara abit more away, this time they could see the lionesses.

They saw them, and Kovu stood there. Kion saw him look at the mud puddle, before Vitani and Kopa ran up beside them.

"You found them?"

"No, these two idiots lost em again." Kovu snarled, "Just go. We can finish up searching here."

The two lionesses nodded quickly and ran of to the other direction.

"Where did they go then? They couldn't of just disappeared." Vitani said, and Kovu walked over to the mudy puddle, while Vitani and Kopa followed.

"Come on guys." Kovu said, and Kiara and Kion walked out from behind the wall.

"Covering your scent with mud. Smart move." Kopa smirked.

"Kion's move." Kiara grinned, looking at Kion who shrugged and shook his fur, getting dirt on Kovu.

"Hey!" Kovu snarled playfully, causing Kion to smirk.

"You guys got out, but you still need to get out." Vitani said.

"We know. But, there is no way we are getting back to the Pridelands without being seen. I bet Zira's Pride is crawling all around the Outlands by now, I could hear them gaining on us. We're just two cubs running from an entire Pride!" Kion said, his ears going down.

"But, you're Kion, Prince Kion! You're faster than a cheater, so run." Kovu said, looking at Kion now, "Run as fast a you can in that direction. By now, the lionesses should of passed. So, go."
