Kion took a deep breath, as he reached the last step of Pride rock. He walked inside the den, he saw Kiara with Nala of to the side, with Simba talking to a lioness.

"Kion!" Kion smiled at his SIster, who so bad wanted to run upto him nd hug him but Simba had walked upto him first.

"Kion." Simba said sternly.

"Sir." Kion also said sternly, bowing his head before standing up tall to copy Simba. Some would say tthey looked alike, but to Kion he was nothing like his Father.

"Did everything go okay?"

"Yes Sir. Me and the Guard had took the Herds through the Outlands and to the grass just like you had asked. It should be enough to last the entire dry season." Kion explained.

"Good. You run into any trouble?" Simba asked.

"A lil trouble, with some water but nothing else, Sir." Kion said, while Simba nodded.

"Okay. I'm proud of you." Simba said, just before he walked away. Kion's eyes widened and his ears dropped. His Dad was proud of him?

Kion only watched Simba for a few moments, before smiling widely.

"Kion, go with the hunting crew and help them hunt something." Simba said, and Kion nodded. He walked over to a few lionesses, what also had Kiara and his Mom, who lead the hunting crew. But, also Savannah.

"Kion!" Kiara said, nuzzleing her brother.

"Hey Kiara." Kion smiled. They didn't look alike like him and his Father, but they were close and they liked it.

"Hey Kion." Kiara smiled. They vowed to always have each others backs, even when Kiara does become Queen, Kion promised to protect her as if his life depended on it.

"Kion!" Kion spun round, when he heard a squeak. Kion rolled his eyes when seeing Zuri and Tiffu running towards him, Kiara had jumped between them to stop her friends from bom barding her brother.

"Careful Girls. Leave him be." Kiara said, and Kion sighed.

"Hello Son." Nala came forward and nuzzled him, "You ready to hunt?"

"Yeah." Kion smiled.

"Well, Kiara is leading it." Nala said, smiling at Kiara who nodded.

"Let's go." Kiara said, while they all started running, everybody followed including Tiffu and Zuri.

Once the group of lionesses and Kion reached the hunting round, what was a huge grassland with some zebras, gazelles and a few other grazing herds were.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" Kiara whispered, while her and Kion was sat on the edge. Kion stayed quite and scanned the area, before his breath got caught in his throat, "Kion?"

"Over by the rocks, just by the Gazelles. On the left." Kion whispered, and Kiara gasped when seeing Kopa sat behind one of the rocks with Kovu.

"What are they doing here?!" Kiara whispered, and Kion shushed her.

"I don't know. . . there clearly not hunting. But, there looking right at us. . ." Kion mumbled.

"What are we going to do?" Kiara asked.

"Go on with the hunt, they won't be seen. Let's go for the Gazelle, it's bigger." Kion also said.

"Okay. Now, all we need is a plan." Kiara smirked.

"Go for the back one, it's injured, and won't fight as much." Kion also said, "Now, we will go to the back, hiding behind that rock down there, letting the lionesses chase the herd, while we go after that one. Deal?"

"Got it." Kiara smiled, them both turning around, seeing the lionesses sat there, one in patricular looking annoyed. Savannah.

"Okay, we've come up with a plan." Kion announced.

"Kion came up with the plan." Kiara fixed, before countinuing, "Kion?"

"Okay, you girls chase after the--"

"And, why should we listen to you?" Savannah butted in, while Nala looked like she wanted to jump on in.

Kion glared at her.

"Because, Kiara gave me the role of comeing up with the plan and she is the princess, heir to the throne and my sister." Kion snarled, trying to stay calm. Not giving any reason for his Father to punish him.

"And, she is not the King! or Queen for that matter." Savannah snarled, getting up in Kion's face.

"No, but she is my Sister. And, I will not have you disrepect her like that." Kion snarled, stepping forward.

"Guys!" Kiara snarled, getting between the two, "Kion, it's okay. Now, Savannah, you might wanna watch yourself. I won't be here every time to save you from my brother. Now, you will all listen and treat Kion like the Prince he is! Got it?"

Kiara looked around.

"Yes, Ma'ma." Most of them answered, while Savannah snarled.

"You got a problem with that, Savannah?" Kiara snarled.

"No Princess." Savannah mumbled, while walking backwards and taking a seat.

"Now, Kion will explain the plan to you." Kiara announced, "Kion, you're turn."

Kiara moved to sit beside her brother, who was also sat.

"As I was saying, you Lionesses run and chase the Herd, makeing them stempede, while me and Kiara will get the Gazelle we have eyes on. Is that clear?" Kion announced.

Most of them nodded, expect Savannah.

"Savannah?" Kion snarled, "I said, is that clear?"

"Yes Sir." Savannah said through gritted teeth.

"Now. Go!" Kiara shouted, while all of the lionesses ran down the hill.

For once, Tiffu and Zuri actually listened and instead of complaining about their fur getting dirty.

"Huh, they aren't complaning about there fur?" Kion muttered.

"Cuase there trying to impress you, genius." Kiara laughed, and Kion only rolled his eyes.

"You'd think they would get it, when I refuse to meat up with them for the 1 milionth time." Kion said, and Kiara only rolled his eyes, looking down the hill when seeing the herd now indeed running, Lionesses spread out, roaring to make them go faster.

"Ready?" Kiara asked, looking at her brother.

"As I'll ever be." Kion grinned, them both running down the hill, they both managed to keep up with each other, jumping over a log, Kion saw Kopa and Kovu watching them, but started focuing on the hunt.

"You go left, I go right!" Kion shouted over to his sister, them both switching sides and going on eaither side of the herd, "Where is it?"

"Kion, I can't see him!" Kiara shouted over to him, Kion shaking his head.

"I need to get a better view." Kion mumbled, he saw a rock in the middle of the herd what they all were running around, and jumped on a gazelle and then onto the rock with a smirk.

Looking around, he saw the Herd at the back, waiting for his moment, once he was right next to him, he jumped off of the rock, knocking himself and the gazelle over.

Kion rolled, before jumping back up and growling, before letting out a roar. Kiara soon came to his side, snarling. They both crouched down, Kiara ooked at Kion who nodded. Kiara jumped at the gazelle, it jumping to the side, so Kion jumped at it, taking the kill.

Soon, the Gazelle stopped moving, and Kion finally let go. With a smirk, him and his Sister fist bumped.

"Good job you two." The sibling duo turned around, grinning when seeing Nala there, who only beamed down at her two children.

"Thanks Mom." Kion answered, he saw Savannah scoff out the corner of the eye, but he didn't care. Not at this moment in life anyway.

After years, his Dad was finally proud of him, he was hunting with his Sister and his Mom was just there. The only thing what was missing, the only piece of the family left to bring back.
