The next morning, Kion yawned while stretching his paws infront of him. He soon shot up, he started walking out from the lion guard lair to look up to the sky. It was light, so maybe around 8ish?

Kion sighed.

He started to walk away from Pride rock, he saw the Zebra and Gazzel herd stood around. Then, he saw the Lion Guard up front, so he made his way up there.

"Hey Guys." Kion mumbled.

"Hey Kion." Fuli said, with a smile, "You ready?"

"Yeah." Kion sighed, while looking over the two herds.

"Kion!" Kion turned, smiling when seeing Kiara running towards him with Nala, Kiara nuzzled into his neck, "Be careful little brother."

"Aren't I always big Sis." Kion said softly, while turning to his Mom who licked his cheek.

"Kovu, Kopa and Vitani said that they will be watching from above to keep any danger away from the herd." Kion whispered, causing Nala to smile, before nuzzleing her son.

"I wish I could come with! But, knowing Dad I wouldn't even get the chance to ask. . ." Kiara sighed.

"It's to dangerous anyway, Kiara. I've got two herds to look after and keep themselves from danger or keeping themselves from hurting each other. These guys hate each other, so it's gonna be hard." Kion explained, before nuzzling his sister again, "But, don't worry. I'll be back tommorow."

Kion looked towards Pride rock, seeing his Father stood at the top, looking down on him. Kion bowed his head, before looking to the guard.

"Fuli, run around telling them we are allowed to move." Kion said, and Fuli did just that, she ran around both herds telling them all.

Soon, the herds were all looking to Kion who smiled at Fuli who ran back to his side. They were at the Outlands boarder, and Kion took a deep breath before jumping over, they all followed him.

After about walking for 2 hours, Kion had stopped while looking around, they had come up to 3 turnings. Kion let his ears drop and he looked down each other. He turned to look at the herds who seemed exhausted.

"Have a little rest, everybody! It's gonna be a while longer." Kion announced, and most of them dropped to the floor. Kion took a deep breath while looking at each one one more.

"Kion, you okay?" Fuli asked softly.

He knew he couldn't ask Ono to fly up, caused that would lead the Outlanders right to them.

"Uhm, yeah." Kion muttered, but he was exhausted himself. He could just hide it better then everybody else, "Why don't you guys also have a break."

The Guard only sat or lied down. Kion started walking down the trail of Gazzels and Zebras to make sure everybodys doing alright.

Kion soon reached upfront again, they were in a massive clearing. He sighed.

"He doesn't even know what he's doing." He heard some say.

"Yeah, he's just a Cub and the mistake of a Son from King Simba."

"If Simba was here, he'd know what to do. We've already took 3 wrong turnings to get here!"

"Hopefully we'll get to the grass alive!"

The second one hit hard. Kion sniffled abit.

"Kion?"

"I'm fine." Kion snarled.

Kopa, Kovu and Vitani who was watching from above on the wall, wanted to skin the animals alive from what they were saying, but they stayed put but they really saw how it hurt Kion.
