Chapter 24.

Kion smiled as he rolled his eyes at his sister, who had jumped onto the rock, standing tall.

"You sure are acting foolish for somebody who's gonna become Queen one day." Kion said, smirking while Kiara only rolled her eyes.

"Oh, purlease!" Kiara said, "But, when I'm Queen I am gonna make sure it is known that Kopa, and everybody in the Outlands are welcome."

"Can you be any louder?" Kion asked, raising an eyebrow, "And, you can't invite everybody to the Pridelands! They may be dangerouse."

"Yeah, like you would know! You don't like anybody." Kiara said, sitting down as Kion rolled his eyes, "And, you annoy everybody you meet. With you're over-protectiveness!"

"No, I don't." Kion said, while Kiara only smirked.

"Sure, ya don't." Kiara said, as Kion snarled, "You need to take a chill pill."

"Kiara!" Kiara looked up seeing Simba walking towards her, as Kiara quickly shoved Kion behind a rock just under the rock stairs, so he could look at them and hear.

"Dad! Hey!" Kiara said quickly.

"Kiara, you need to learn how to rule the lands. You know, when you're a Queen? You have to learn to ignore Kion, and being all playful and everything, and learn how to rule." Simba said, as Kiara rolled her eyes.

"Okay, Dad." Kiara mumbled.

"Now, come on. I need to teach you the ways." Simba said, before wlaking back towards Pride rock, Kiara sighing before following. Kion sighed in relief and started running away.

Kion sat on a rock, what was infront of the Outlands, called Flat Ridge Rock, he was lying down on it.

"Hey Kion." Kion looked of to the side, before leaning up and sat there, giving a slight smile to Dj who jumped onto the rock beside him and also sat down, "You saw you're brother?"

"Uh, yeah. Yeah! I did." Kion said, giving a slight smile, "Why?"

"Just asking. I've just finished up patrol, seems like Simba is taking this whole Simba thing way to serious!" Dj said, as Kion gave a slight smirk.

"Yeah, well I hate the guy but I seem to understand why." Kion said, before his ears perked up and looked over towards the Outlands, squinting his eyes before slowly standing up, "You... see that, right?"

"What?" Dj asked, before also looking where Kion started running into the Outlands, "Kion!"

Dj followed Kion, and also jumped into the Outlands.

"Kion!" Dj shouted, looking around seeing Kion run around the corner, so she followed.

Dj came to a sudden stop, panting when Kion was stood there, looking around with his ears flipping back and forwards, listening.

"Kion?" Dj asked.

"I saw something... someone. They were spying on us. I've been seeing abunch of things just appear then disappear randomly! But, I always chased them here, then I lost them." Kion explained, before sniffing the air, Dj doing the same.

"Hide!" Kion hissed, pushing Dj back behind a boulder, when suddenly 3 lionesses came around the corner.

Kion pushed Dj up a steep hill, while Kion followed her, them both crouching low to the ground once at the top.

"Zira's lionesses." Kion whispered.

"I can pratically smell that little lion brat. He better not come back." The first lioness snarled.
