Third Person Narrative (Peter's POV)
Peter arrived at to the address Amora gave him in Bleecker street. He looked up to see the building, it was definitely different from the others surrounding it. It had an older, more rustic look with a huge looking glass in the middle of the roof. He entered cautiously into the building, keeping alert of his surroundings. The sanctorium seemed abandoned from the looks of it, he could smell the dust covering the furnished surfaces.
"Hello?" Peter bellowed out, he was able to hear his own echoes.
He continued to search the area, noticing a staircase that would lead down to the basement he assumed. He creeped down the stairs, trying not to make to much noise. He was doing good, his stealth mode idea was successful, that was until he reached a certain step. His foot touched the wooden step causing it to creak very loudly. That was the least of his worries, he was grabbed from behind thrown down the flight of stairs. As he tumbled he saw a figure waiting to pin him to the ground at his arrival at the bottom. He flipped over landing on the ceiling, trying to boggle whomever was trying to attack him. The figure looked side to side trying to find her opponent, and was caught by surprise when spidey attacked from the top. He pushed the figure into the wall, ready to sucker punch them into the cement. That was until he realized it was just a kid. He let go, taking a few steps back and putting his hands up calling a truce.
"You're a pretty good fighter for your age." Peter said trying to make friendly conversation.
"I know." The kid sassed back.
"I'm looking for Doctor Strange?" Peter asked.
"Funny, so am I." They replied.
"I'm Peter Parker." He continued.
"America. America Chavez." She said quietly, "Anyways, I've searched for Doctor Strange everywhere. He's not here. At least not in this sanctorium."
"What do you mean this sanctorium? There's more than one?" Peter questioned.
America rolled her eyes, moody teenager Peter thought, he could relate when he was her age.
"Yes there is more than one. There're three actually." She said boldly.
"How do we reach the others?" Peter suggested.
She didn't reply, she simply nodded in direction to the upstairs. She led Peter to these doors found in the common room. The each had the symbol that he saw on the exterior roof upon entry. America proceeded to open one of the doors, and he was surprised to see the exact same thing on the other side, as if it was being mirrored. They both proceeded to walk through in silence, Peter would've done anything to break the awkwardness.
"Soooo... Why are you looking for Doctor Strange?" He inquired.
"Oh you know just saving the universe stuff." She replied, "You?"
"My friend needs help. She's not from this universe." He muttered, "Wait what do you mean save the universe?"
"It's a really long story dude. But I guess its worth telling." She continued. "Basically I can travel between universes right. And I really really enjoy jumping between them, but recently some of the universes I've been visiting have been completely destroyed. Along in each world the Sorcerer Supreme, aka Strange has been missing. And just like I predicted these symbols are always present." America sighed, as she pointed towards the symbols on the walls.
Peter looked at them intently scanning the symbols, not knowing what they meant. He took out his phone, to snap a couple pictures in hopes that Amora could maybe make sense of them. He and America continued to walk through the different sanctorium analyzing the landscape in front of him.
"Well, it seems like he's not home." America sighed, "Guess that means I'm off."
"Wait what do you mean your off?" Peter stuttered.
"I need to go to every universe I can. I need to find a Doctor Strange who can figure out what the hell is going on." She snipped, "Look, if your friend was put into this universe, maybe it ties into what has been happening. Tell me exactly what happened to her."
Peter explained Amoras story the best he could from what he was told himself. He told her about how a spell wrong sent him into her universe and when he got sent back, she came right behind him. He began to describe to America how Amora saw a shadow of types behind her Doctor Strange, and carbon copy of the same man.
"Wait back up? AN EVIL STRANGE?" She screamed, "Shit! I gotta go now I need to go find at least one Strange who can help me."
"Wait! I'm so confused right now!" Peter yelled.
"Don't worry you will see me again." America reassured, "You can count on it."
All of a sudden the small teenager bashed her foot into the ground into a star shaped whole. When it cracked open a sort of rainbow light emerged.
"See you soon Peter!" She hollered, as she jumped in the whole as it closed behind her.
Peter had all this new information with him inside his mind, and he could barely make half of it. He didn't understand in the slightest what was going on, in all fairness he was simply the friendly neighbourhood spider-man. He went back to the original sanctorium, still empty. He sighed at the sight, although he did have information he felt bad that he was coming back empty handed. Peter left the building returning to where he once was on Bleecker street. He swung back through the cities to his cozy little apartment on 5th and 23rd. Upon arrival, he noticed she hadn't made it back yet, but he assumed it couldn't be to long before she would. Like he assumed it wasn't long after him that Amora returned. Peter heard a light tap on his front door. He opened the door to come face to face with Amora, although it was more like face to top of her head. She was looking down at her feet, as Peter let her into the apartment. He stopped her as she walked past him lifting up her face. Looking into her eyes Peter could tell she had been crying recently due to the puffiness surrounding her eyes.
"What happened?" He asked sympathetically.
Amora shook it off, looking away from Peter.
"You don't wanna know." She whispered, "I shouldn't of come back right now. I'm not safe to be around."
"What do you mean your not safe to be around?" He questioned, "Maybe I can he-"
"No you can't help me!" She cut him off, "Not unless you can bring all the dead people in my life. I came into this fucking world with the slightest bit of hope think maybe just maybe some of the people I once knew could still be alive here!" She cried.
Peter noticed her heart rate was spiking and her breathing was becoming more rapid, but that wasn't even half of it. Her eyes began to glow in a green luminescence that sort of made Peter tense.
"They are all dead!" She continued, "Tony, Natasha, everyone I knew from my life! God even Steve is dead here!"
Peter approached Amora getting closer to her by the second, but as he did Amora took a few steps back.
"Peter, no. I'm not safe to be around right now." She sobbed trying to shove him away.
He got closer until he was able to wrap his arms around her tightly. She collapsed in his arms, her knees dropping as she let out a painful scream. The magic overload flowing through her veins pulsing out of her body, a green cloud surrounding them. She sobbed in his arms as he tried to soothe her to his best abilities, running his hand through her hair. They sat there for hours, Peter never letting go once, just trying his best to mend her pain.
