Third Person Narrative

Before they knew it, it was morning again. Peter and Amora had fallen asleep in each others arms on the floor, where the had been sitting the night previous. Peter shifted realizing that the girl was laying on his chest. After he woke, it wasn't long after when she did as well.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on you." Amora yawned.

"Don't worry about it. I fell asleep too." Peter chuckled.

"So were you able to find anything yesterday?" She asked.

Peter nodded, then got up to grab his cellphone. Before he showed her the pictures he began to describe what happened while he was there. He told her about the young girl he met America Chavez, and how she noticed there was something fishy going on too. He also mentioned what a punch the girl packed as well, super strength he said. As well, he told her that Strange was no where in sight, it was like he abandoned the sanctorium. Finally, Peter pulled out his phone going to the photos application and selected the photos handing the phone to her. Amora put a hand to her mouth letting out a gasp to the sight of the symbols.

"Shit." Amora whispered, now submerging her head into the palms of her hands.

She looked at Peter with a hint of fear sparkling in her eyes, with the smallest frown creeping up on her face.

"This is worse than I thought." Amora resumed, "That symbol originates in a book called the dark hold, the book of the damned. And that right there, is the most powerful nexus being, the Scarlet Witch."

"So what, were the symbols in the building a warning from someone?" Peter asked.

"Not just someone, the symbols have to be from herself. She's looking for something or someone." She trembled, "If this is true, and she has been awakened, we're doomed."

Amora had been pacing for a couple of hours, mumbling to herself trying to make sense of what was right in front of her. Who could it be? She knew many witches, it could be any of them. She continued pacing, noticing that Peter's phone kept buzzing.

"You can get that." She reassured.

Peter looked down in hesitation at the phone. He knew who it was, his aunt May. Ever since she almost called the police on him, she didn't stop calling. Peter knew she was curious, and wanted to understand why he thought she would know him, but he knew he couldn't going back knowing that she didn't recognize her own child.
Amora could see the sorrow in Peters eyes. She felt bad considering that he was probably bottling it up inside due to how emotionally unstable she was as an individual these past few days. She looked at him with a face insinuating "what's wrong?", seeing if he would open up.

"Just my aunt may." He said almost inaudibly, "She's been calling me every day since I came over and she didn't recognize me. She doesn't remember me anymore, but found my number in her phone."

"What do you mean doesn't remember you anymore?" Amora asked calmly.

"I guess that spell applied to all Peter Parkers." He chuckled, "No one remembers who I am anymore."

Amora looked at him sympathetically. She finally had a grasp onto why they were so drawn to eachother. They both were hurting deep deep down.

"I'm so sorry Peter." She replied squeezing his hand, "But I might have a solution."

This was probably the first piece of good news Peter had heard in a long long time. It made him happy, she made him happy, even when darkness lurked in the shadows.

"What." Peter chuckled, looking at Amora but also keeping his eyes attently on the road.

"I don't know." Amora replied, "I just never thought
I'd see the day where spider-man would be a driving a car."

"Ouch, you think I'm a bad driver?" He laughed.

"No no no not all." Amora explained, "I just thought you guys you know just swung everywhere."

He chuckled once more, putting his main focus back on the road. He was driving them to  his aunt May's, but also his childhood home. Amora said she could fix it, help his aunt remember him for who he was.

"This is a nice car." Amora complimented.

"Thanks it's was my uncle Ben's." Peter smiled, "Thought I'd pull it out today, maybe jog her memory a bit."

Amora nodded in agreement, still admiring the car. She could tell there was a lot of sentiment behind it, and it was special to Peter.
They had arrived at his aunts house parking a little bit down the street so they didn't alarm the woman.

"Okay, before we go in there I have to dive in your head a little." Muttered Amora, scared he wouldn't fully be on board, "Just think of your aunt."

Peter agreed hesitantly, he trusted her enough to do it. He closed his eyes envisioning his beloved parent. Amora put her hands on the temples of Peter's head also closing her eyes. Working her magic, she dove inside his mind. She pulled out all the tangible memories of Peter and his aunt seeing many emotions being pulled out too. She saw glimpses of joy, anger, sadness, grief. She saw him and his aunt standing over a grave, not just once but twice, two separate headstones. She didn't want to pry to much, but as she continued to pull out the memories she saw the names engraved in the stones. Ben Parker and Gwen Stacey. She felt for him, he had gone through a lot of pain and he was all alone for most of it because of his secret persona. She opened her eyes, letting go of his temples.

"All done." She said quietly.

Peter opened his eyes too, and he exhaled deeply looking at her with gratitude.

"I can't thank you enough." He said appreciatively, "Shall we?"

The pair got out of the car walking up to the house complex. Peter was hesitant for a second but he knocked on the door. He was met with the familiar face of his loving aunt, even though she didn't know him her face was something he missed so much. The older lady let the two of them in, leading them to the couch. Peter told her in the car that it was best not to explain the situation to her as he knew she would worry so much, but to rather "sneak up" behind her giving her the stolen memories. Amora abided to his wishes, waiting until his aunt got up to make tea for everyone. Amora crept up behind her, not trying to scare her in anyway. She pulled the memories she had obtained from Peters mind from the head of her own, now placing them in the mind of May Parker. Once it was done Amora snuck back outside to the car, she didn't want to ruin the moment. As she was walking back, she saw the two embrace, Peter hugging his aunt very tight. She could tell no matter how short time it had been, he had missed his aunt so so much. He looked out the window quickly seeing Amora smile at him. Peter mouthed something to her, she read the words from his lips "Thank you". "No problem" she mouthed back smiling.
