A New Life on a New Earth

Chapter 33

Over the next week the team had been gathering all of the information that they could to stop Lex. They found his secret lair that was hidden behind his prison cell and Kara and Sam would take turns watching it with their x-ray vision. He seemed to be going into the lair every night and every so often he would even use the escape hatch to leave the prison. Of course they could have taken him down right then and there, but they wanted everything to stick against him, so they took pictures and followed him wherever he went while the rest of the team were investigating other things that it seemed that Lex was involved in.

Oliver had made a trip to Kasnia and found out that Lex was working with the Government there on something. Once he got close enough he saw that they had some kind of clone of Kara and they were training her to work for them. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Well, actually it could being that he and Kara had just fought an evil version of Kara not too long ago.

"Looks like the Kasnian government and Lex are working together. You are not going to like how though." Oliver said.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Thea said over the phone.

"Somehow they made a clone of Kara and they are training her to be evil. This could be bad." Oliver said.

"I will let everyone know. Be safe Ollie." Thea said.

"I will be back tomorrow Speedy. I just need to make sure that I have the right evidence for this." Oliver said.

"See you soon." Thea said as she hung up.

The next day Oliver was back in National City with all the evidence that he could find to use against Lex from there. The team was very surprised with what Oliver had found.

"So, you are saying that Lex somehow got some of my DNA and used it to make a clone of me to use the way that he sees fit to?" Kara asked.

"It appears that way. I don't know how he did it, but he did. This just got more complicated though. Now we have to deal with an evil you." Oliver said as he looked at Kara.

"We will figure something out. Anyways, we have been following Lex for the past week. I think we might have enough to finally take him down for good. Maybe we can now have all of his accounts frozen so that he can't pay people off like he is doing now." Kara said.

"That would be good. So, what do we need to do now?" James asked.

"Now we compile all of the information that we have gathered and I take it to the DEO. Only the government can take Lex off the board completely and leave him in a dark hole. We can't just take this information to the police. Lex has people in the police that will get everything dropped.

"I think you are right. Bring the information to me tomorrow and we will see what we can do about finishing Lex off for good." J'onn said and Kara nodded as they got back to putting all of the information together.

The next day Supergirl flew into the DEO with the information that they had on Lex and handed it to J'onn. "This is all of the information that we have on Lex. I think it should be enough to put him in a dark hole somewhere for the rest of his life." Kara said.

"I know it will be with what I saw last night. I will give this a look over and then I will go and pick Lex up and take him to a black site that no one knows about." J'onn said.

"Good. I can't believe that we might actually finally be done with Lex once and for all." Kara said.

"It will be good not to have to worry about him anymore. I will look this information over and if I need anything from you I will give you a call." J'onn said.

"Thanks J'onn. I will see you later." Kara said as she flew out of the DEO.

Later that night J'onn and Alex were on their way to pick Lex up and take him to a DEO black site that he would be spending the rest of his life in. The rest of the heroes were watching over what was going on incase Lex had people waiting for this type of situation. When J'onn and Alex arrived at Lex's cell he was actually surprised to see them, which meant that he had no idea that he had been investigated for the last week.

"What can I do for you agents?" Lex asked.

"You are coming with us. We know what you have been doing here and in Kasnia, Lex." Alex said.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I have been in this cell for the last couple of years." Lex said.

"Don't lie Lex. We know everything." J'onn said as he walked to the back wall of the cell and opened it and walked into Lex's secret lair.

"Well, you two are smarter than I gave you credit for." Lex said.

"You can't get this to stick though. You don't have the evidence of that lair being mine." Lex said with a smile.

"Oh, you don't think so. Maybe you should look at this." Alex said as she pulled the folder out and showed Lex all of the evidence that they had.

Lex was truly surprised now because he knew that he had no way out of this with the pictures and everything that they had against him. "Ok, so it looks like you have done your homework. How much do I need to pay you to forget all of that information?" Lex asked.

"We aren't looking for money Lex. You should know that. We just want to see you behind bars for the rest of your life and now we know that will happen because we are going to put you in the deepest, darkest hole that we can find." Alex said.

"You can't do that. You have to give me my trial." Lex said.

"Oh, we will. But until then, you will be coming with us though." J'onn said as he dragged Lex out to the vehicle and they took him to one of their black sites.
