A New Life on a New Earth

Chapter 44

Emiko and Thea got back to the bunker later that night and now they knew where Leviathan was headquartered. They had even seen some of the others come out of the building, including Rama Khan. They also listened in on conversations that some of them had when they were outside and found out that they couldn't go down into the lower levels of the building without some sort of protection. That meant that they would have to lure all of Leviathan outside and that would be how to stop them once and for all.

"So, did you find anything that we can use to stop Leviathan?" Oliver asked when the two walked in.

"Yeah, I don't think we can enter the building. They have some sort of protection that will kill us if we go in without some sort of chip that will protect us." Thea said.

"That means that we will need to lure them outside. Any ideas on how to do that?" Kara asked.

"My thoughts are that we go there and make a mess of things. They won't be able to stay inside then." Emiko said.

"That makes sense. So, do you think we can get this done tomorrow night?" Oliver asked.

"I don't think it will be a problem. The sooner we get this over with the better." Kara said and the rest of the team nodded before Thea and Emiko changed into their street clothes and then everyone decided it was time to get home for the night.

The next night the team was back in the bunker getting ready for their attack. The plan was to use explosives to blow holes into the building and hopefully that lured Leviathan out so that the heroes could trap them all in the container that Winn and Brainy had made.

"Ok, is everyone set on the plan?" Kara asked.

'Yeah, blow the building up and force them to come outside. Once they are out you will fly in and trap them in the container." Sara said.

"Well, when you say it like that, you make it sound too easy." Kara said.

"It's all part of my charm." Sara said while chuckling. Oliver and Thea doing the same since they knew that what Sara said was true.

"Let's get this over with. Hopefully, we can end this tonight." Oliver said as all of the heroes suited up and left for the building that Leviathan was using.

When the team arrived at the building, they set explosives all around the place and set them on a timer. When the explosives started to go off, Oliver, Thea, and Emiko started shooting explosive arrows as well. It would only be a matter of time before Leviathan made their way outside to see what was going on.

"Keep it up. We need to make sure that all of them come out." Oliver said as he continued to fire on the building.

"From what I can see, they are on their way. I will make my way over once they leave the building." Kara said as she readied herself to fly in and suck the members of Leviathan into the container that she was holding.

When Leviathan exited the building, Kara flew toward them and opened the container. It looked like it was working two were sucked into the container without any problem. She did another fly-by and got Rama Khan. That only left Gemma, and she was caught in the suction and pulled into the container as well.

Kara shut the container and flew off with it. She flew to the fortress and put it with all of the other objects that she and Kal would bring there because they were too dangerous to be left out in the world. Once she had dropped the container off, she flew back to the bunker and met back up with the team.

"So, that was easy. Are we sure that we got all of them?" Kara asked.

"Yeah, those are the only ones that we saw leaving the building while we were watching it that night." Emiko said.

"Well, in that case, good job out there tonight. I think we can afford to take some time off. I think I need to put the finishing touches on the wedding." Kara said.

"Did you ever decide where you were going to have it?" Alex asked.

"I did. I think it will be good to have it at the park in front of that pond. It looks very romantic." Kara said.

"I am surprised that you didn't want to get married on Argo." Thea said.

"I thought about it, but it would be too much trouble to get everyone there that we would want to be there." Kara said.

"That makes sense. What all do you have left to do?" Sara asked.

"Not much. Just flowers and the music. I haven't been able to choose between a band or a DJ." Kara said.

"I would do a DJ. That way they can play any music that you want played and they are not having to just play what they specialize in." Alex said.

"You know, that is a good idea. I never thought about it that way." Kara said.

"What were you thinking for the flowers?" Lena asked.

"I am not sure yet. What do you think?" Kara asked.

"I think since your bridesmaids are going to be in blue you should use that as some of the colors. Maybe a little bit of red as well." Thea said.

"I just don't think that using my superhero colors is a good idea." Kara said.

"It is not like anyone is going to know except for the people who already know." Lena said.

"I guess you have a point. I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the help. I think I am going to head home and make sure everything else is done though." Kara said and the other women and men made their way out of the bunker and went home as well.
