A New Life on a New Earth

Chapter 53

The next morning Oliver and Kara got up early and got ready to go to Earth 2. Laurel would be meeting them at their apartment and then they would use the extrapulator that Cisco gave them to go to Earth 2. About thirty minutes after they woke up there was a knock at the door and Kara went to answer it, seeing that it was Laurel.

"Ok, so I need to know anything about my counterpart on your earth." Oliver said, looking at Laurel.

"You never came back from the island, so I think that is a good place for the two of you to start. I think you can send me back to Star City. I might be M.I.A. right now, but I did leave town, so no one should know what is actually going on with me." Laurel said and Oliver nodded.

"Here is a breach to Earth 2 Star City. We will be there as soon as we can." Oliver said as he opened the breach and Laurel walked through it.

"Ok, now for a one way ticket to Lian Yu. Hopefully a ship comes by soon." Oliver said as he opened a breach and he and Kara walked through to see that they were now on Lian Yu.

"Well, how lucky is that. Look, there is a ship just off shore." Kara said with a smile.

"Let's dirty ourselves up a bit. It will look weird if they pick us up and we are clean." Oliver said and Kara nodded as they both picked up dirt and mud and put it all over themselves making it look like they had been there for a while.

Once done with that, Oliver saw that there was a pile of wood nearby and he lit an arrow on fire and shot it at the pile of wood. The pile caught on fire and they saw the boat turn around to come and rescue them. Once on board the boat, Oliver made a call to his mother to let her know that she was coming home just like he did the last time. Soon enough the two heroes were in China and would be catching a plane to Star City and get the particles that they needed and then they would head back to Earth 38.

Moira had shown up to the hospital just like on Earth 1 and she was very surprised to see that Oliver was not alone. She looked at the girl that was with Oliver and could tell that they were very close or maybe even in love.

"Oliver, my beautiful boy. I am so glad you are home." Moira said.

"Glad to be home, Mom. This is Kara. She was on the island with me. We are in a relationship now." Oliver said since he couldn't exactly say they were married since they were supposed to be on an island for years.

"It is nice to meet you Kara. You will be welcome at our home anytime." Moira said.

"Thank you Mrs. Queen." Kara said and now it was time to leave the hospital and go to the Queen Mansion.

When the two heroes got home, Oliver was surprised to see that Malcolm and Tommy were there. He soon found out that on this earth, Malcolm and his mother were married. So, that made Tommy his stepbrother. He found out that Thea was in rehab because of her drug addiction, which he was glad to say that this was better than on Earth 1, where it took her almost getting killed to straighten herself out.

The two heroes went up to Oliver's room and waited for Laurel to show up so that they could make a plan to get the particles. It didn't take long for there to be a knock at the bedroom door and when Oliver opened it, he saw Laurel standing there with Tommy.

"She said she needed to see you to make sure you were really alive, so I figured I would show her to your room. I will leave you to it then." Tommy said as he walked away and Laurel entered the room and Oliver closed the door once she was inside.

"So, you say you know this earth. What is the plan?" Oliver asked.

"I asked one of my contacts that I have made over the years and he said that the particles were stolen, but he knows who took them. The Dark Archer. Looks like Merlyn is up to his old tricks." Laurel said since she had heard about Merlyn on Earth 1.

"Looks that way. Why don't you try and get close to Tommy? He could lead you somewhere that might help us find the particles before it is too late." Oliver said and Laurel nodded, since she knew that Tommy had always had a thing for her and tried to hit on her right after Oliver died.

Laurel left the room and tried to talk to Tommy and it looked like she was catching Tommy in her web. Oliver and Kara decided that they would keep an eye on Malcolm if he decided to leave the house at any time. It looked like this mission could last for a couple of days now that they were here.

Malcolm didn't leave the house until the next day when it was time for him to go to work. He took Oliver to work to show him what he would be doing once he was brought back to life legally speaking. Once the two were done with the tour, Oliver made his way back home and Kara would be following Malcolm from now on.

They couldn't find anything that showed that Malcolm was up to something, so that made the three heroes believe that something was different on this earth and that Malcolm wasn't the Dark Archer, but if it wasn't him, then could it be. Laurel was still staying close to Tommy and she wasn't finding anything with him either. The heroes knew that they would find out what was going on sooner or later. They would just have to be patient.
