A New Life on a New Earth

Chapter 60

Over the next few days many of the heroes were out in the multiverse trying to save other earths and it was not going well for them. As of right now there were only two more earths left and the second one was about to get swallowed by the Anti-Matter wave. They all pulled back to Earth 1 so that they could make their final stand there.

While they were waiting, Novu pulled Oliver, Kara and Barry to the side so that they could have a talk. "I just wanted the three of you to know that you are going to be the reason that we will come out of this ok. I need you to know that the three of you have the power of the Specter inside of you. That is why you built the device. You can't show this to the Anti-Monitor until the time is right or he will be ready for you." Novu said.

"I was wondering what that extra power was that I was feeling when the device went off. How do we know when the time is right?" Kara said.

"Yes, you were feeling yourself being infused with the Specter power. As for how you will know when the time is right, don't worry about that, it will be easy to tell." Novu said and the three heroes nodded.

All of a sudden, the Anti-Monitor appeared in the bunker and he and Novu started to fight. Novu knew that he didn't have a chance against Anti-Monitor right now, so he used what was left of his powers to send the three Specters and the paragons to the vanishing point. The last earth and the rest of the heroes were taken out by the Anti-Matter wave.

Everyone was looking around wondering where they were. Sara was the one to speak up being that she had been to this place before when she was with the Legends. "This is the Vanishing Point. It is a place outside of time and space. No time passes here." Sara said.

"I guess this is a place that the Anti-Monitor can't get to. We need to find a way to get out of here and fix everything." Caitlin said.

"Yes, we do. We have an idea for that." Barry said as he stepped forward.

"Mind sharing with the class?" Kate asked.

"Oliver, Kara, and I are all Specters. We have powers that will allow us to get out of here. We will be able to bring all of you with us. I think it is probably best to go to the dawn of time. That will allow us to hopefully be able to fix things." Barry said.

"We trust the three of you, so do what needs to be done. We will do what we have to do as well." Diggle said.

"Good, because this is going to take all of us working together if this is going to work." Oliver said and everyone nodded.

"So, how do you get us out of here?" Alex asked.

"We just use our powers and we will be at the dawn of time before you know it." Kara said and the three Specter's eyes glowed and the next thing any of them knew was that they were going through a portal.

As they all came out of the portal they were in a place that was bare of any life. "Well, this place doesn't look ominous at all." Alex said.

"It is bare of life, because nothing has been created yet. The seven of you will be taking on the Shadow Demons while we take on the Anti-Monitor. We will also need all of you to fan the flame once we spark it. You will know what to do when the time is right." Oliver said and all of a sudden the Anti-Monitor and his Shadow Demons appeared.

"You thought you could come back here and start things over again. You knew I would never let that happen." the Anti-Monitor said.

"We knew you would show up. That was kind of the point of all of this." Kara said.

"Well, once I am done with all of you, I will make sure that anything that is created here is destroyed again." the Anti-Monitor said as the Shadow Demons started to attack.

For a while all ten of the heroes fought against the Shadow Demons, then suddenly Oliver appeared on the mountain where the Anti-Monitor was watching the fight. "Well, that was unexpected. You have powers. Not that they are going to help you much." the Anti-Monitor said.

"I guess we will find out." Oliver said as both of them shot beams of energy at each other.

The Anti-Monitor was so focused on Oliver that he didn't realize that Barry had appeared behind him. Barry then started to shoot his own beam of energy at the Anti-Monitor. The bad guy moved one of his hands so that he could shoot a beam at Barry as well. Soon there was another beam hitting him in his back and he turned to see Kara standing there as well.

This caused all of the Shadow Demons to disappear, which allowed the paragons to turn and watch the fight that was going on above them. All of a sudden the three Specters looked up at the sky and shot a beam of energy at it. The Anti-Monitor looked up and realized that he had lost. He was not going to make it out of this alive and these heroes had played him all along, making him think that they wouldn't be a problem. He had been too confident and that would end up being his downfall.

The Anti-Monitor discentagrated into ash and there was a boom up above the three Specter and the beams of energy were gone. The paragons raced to get to their friends. When they arrived they found the three of them in a crater. Alex, Sara, and Clark were the first into the crater and once they looked to see if the Specters were alive, which they were. The Specters opened their eyes and looked up at the sky and the others followed that up by doing the same.

"What is that?" Sara asked.

"That is the new multiverse. It's beautiful isn't it." Kara said.

"Yeah, it is. When do we get to go back and see everyone else? Alex asked.

"After everything is down forming. One thing that you should know about though is that we all live on the same earth now." Oliver said.

"Well, that is good." Clark said as they all continued to watch the sky.

About an hour later all of the heroes were transported to what was known as Earth Prime. Once they were there they all went to find the rest of their loved one to make sure that they were all ok. Once that was done everyone got back together to see if there was anything else that needed to be done. There wasn't so they all decided to take a few days off. They did just save the multiverse after all.
