Poetry is my cocaine
With a simple dose
I feel calm and at ease
My worries slowly vanish
It takes away the stress and helps mellow me out
With a couple of lines
The world goes away
I'm in my own space
My own thoughts
And I feel free
Some days
Need more lines
More feelings
More of a distraction to make it through the night
Because a couple isn't enough
It helps me unwind
Ease up
Relax
With just a few lines
I'm better
And happier
And able to sleep a little bit
Without the world feeling like it's crushing me
All it takes
Is a few lines
