Dried
And brick red
Who's is it
Is it mine
Or somebody else's
Where did it come from
The skies are storming
But they drop rain
Not red
No open wounds
No wrist gashes
Not since high school
Life's been good to me

I haven't felt too bad
Not that bad
It isn't that
Because my wrists are closed
Skin untouched
My nose isn't bleeding
I haven't had a nosebleed in years
I drink water
I stay hydrated
Decently
It isn't that
What the hell
So where oh where
Did this blood come from
Where did it go
It was there
On my arm
Copper on my tongue
At the back of my throat
Metallic and bitter
Was there blood there
At all
