Rainbows are the bright after a storm
Showing the world
That there is more than one can assume
And that beauty exists
Even when we feel like the world is a sad place to be

Mother nature cannot speak words
But she shows us things
She'll tell us stories without uttering a single phrase

She let's us know
We're not alone
When we think we are
That it's okay to be who we are
In a world that wants to suppress us
That it's okay to feel
To be down
And that it'll all work out
And that we'll shine bright
And show our colours
Our rainbow of colours
And we'll be beautiful as hell doing it

And suddenly
I'm grounded
I'm back in reality
And mother nature will always be there
To remind me
That she accepts me as her queer baby
